Great Place for Small Gatherings and close to the beach

Our son had a great time and comfortable stay at this home for his senior prom. A small group of his closest friends and oldest sister as his chaperone had several room/bed accommodations. The host/managing Partner communication was great throughout the stay. Highly recommend this home that is close to the beach and close proximity of Galveston attractions.

This is a great house. There were 9 adults and plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect and easy access to the beach and close to town.

The house was amazing. The kids loved the house and our nightly walk to the beach to catch sand crabs. Big rooms with amazing bathrooms.

We very much enjoyed the kitchen being directly behind the living room so that everyone was always included in what we were doing. Also having your own shower in almost every room was an amazing experience for everyone. The couch was almost more comfortable than the beds! Was a fantastic house and we had a fantastic stay!

First Time Renters . beautiful home

This house is gorgeous! Beautiful inside and out! The room spaces are very nice in size! The restrooms, closets, everything was amazing! I love that they had extra blankets and pillows I'm the restrooms! Because we forgot to bring some. We are very happy with this house. Not too far from the beach! We were able to rinse ourselves downstairs before entering home! Definitely will rent again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The greatest place to stay

We had a great time at the home . The only thing was wrong with the house was the bottom floor didn’t have a tv in the master bathroom

It was a beautiful place! We wished we could have stayed longer. The house fit our family of 14 just right. The amount of supplies was just right. We would definitely stay again.

Beach Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house while visiting for the Sandcastle Festival with my family and cousins. The house was perfectly located, just a short walk from the beach. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the large outdoor deck where we could gather together after a fun day in the sand. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking family meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable, offering a restful night's sleep after a long day of activities. This beach house made our trip to the Sandcastle Festival truly memorable, and we can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay near the beach.

Great house, great communication and would recommend but there are some things Host needs to address. Kitchen was not adequately stocked for cooking. We had to purchase a pan, cheese grater and utensils to cook. One bathroom did not work, toilet nor shower. Plumber came to address toilet but it was not fixed. Main floor was covered in dead love bugs upon arrival. We had to completely vacuum main floor. This was a very comfortable house for large group but property management company needs to oversee closer.

Weekend getaway 2025

The house could have been cleaned. We found wrappers on the floor, loose rice on the floor. Had to wipe down kitchen counters good as they were dirty. There’s dried toothpaste stuck to the cabinet in the downstairs bedroom bathroom. Could use bigger frying pans for when cooking for large groups.

Vacation 2024

This home was perfect for our 4 families and we all enjoyed our stay. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to a small ant problem on the first level. There was also a short in the kitchen which caused the GFCI wall outlet to go out and we constantly had to flip the breaker switch. We did contact GS who was going to contact the local team but to my knowledge no one ever came out since it continued to happen. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future if available.

Great House That Needs Upgrades

Great house and neighborhood but the house furnishings and kitchen supplies are 2 star and do not meet expectations of what is charged to rent this house. There were blank nails on the wall in the living room for art that was not there, 2 bar stools for an house that holds 16 and furnishings were cheap and did not meet the quality of price that was charged. The kitchen supplies were either not worthy of Goodwill see photo below or non existents. Dishes and kitchen utensils were in the cabinets dirty. Broken furniture shoved in the laundry room.Will not rent this house again even though we come back to this neighborhood for a family get together every year. Very disappointed in this property. Next time will rent another property in the same neighborhood.

Family Time at the Beacon!

Our extended family of 11 stayed at this home for 4 nights. The home was very clean upon arrival, was nice and spacious and was as pictured online. It is close to the beach and has good views of the ocean. We loved having so many bedrooms and bathrooms! The neighborhood is lovely! Our overall experience was positive but we did have some issues. The A/C upstairs struggled to keep up with the desired temperature. The electrical outlets in the kitchen area kept going out so we had to keep flipping the breaker switches. The supplies in the kitchen were inadequate for a home that can accommodate 16 people. We have seen all of these issues mentioned in previous reviews and due to the Vacasa responses we were hoping that they had been rectified prior to our arrival. These issues were disappointing but did not prevent us from having an enjoyable family time at The Beacon!

The property and community was beautiful. We had so many issues that it took away from truly enjoying our vacation. 1. The tv for the downstairs bedroom had been removed and not replaced. 2. Only two of the bedrooms upstairs had a tv in them but one of the tvs did not work at all. We reported this but it was not fixed during our stay. 3. The back door was unlock d on our arrival. We later found out the door would not lock. 4. One of the doors to the balcony upstairs would not open. (Guests in that room was unable to enjoy the balcony. Same room tv was broke in.) 5. Refrigerator went out in the middle of the night, woke to warm and defrosted food. We finally discovered the breaker was tripped. 6. The coffee pot did not work properly, held the water and overflowed causing grinds to be in coffee. It only released a fourth of the water. The night before leaving we discovered the problem was an incorrect carafe was being used in this pot.
