Our family of 10 was able to make The Belle of the Ball Street our home for our stay. Everyone in our party was stunned at the beauty of the property and the quality of the amenities. The elegant and perfectly restored Victorian architecture swept us away into another world, while the modern amenities kept us grounded in ours. The hosts of the property are exceptionally hospitable, even when compared to other Vrbo hosts. One of our family members forgot their tuxedo at the property, and the hosts held onto it until we were able to pick it up. Considering our previous experiences with Vrbo properties, the hosts’ dedication to excellence and the guest experience is exceptional. Wonderful property and hosts, we will be staying again if we are in the area.

Now I am keeping in mind, that the house is historic, it is part of the Galveston Historic District after all, I am only writing this so others will know what to expect. Great location in the historic district. Walked to coffee and strolled the neighborhood admiring the incredible homes. The home itself is immaculate and decorated simply, cleanly, beautifully AND comfortably. The millwork, doors, windows and staircases are works of art. Fun to sit on the front porch and enjoy the evening. We traveled with seniors, toddlers, and teens, and there were comfortable and appropriate accommodations for all. Nice assortment of books on the history of the area.

The property is well maintained. The kitchen, dining area, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious. The kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments and much more. The bathrooms have extra toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a great stay!! Restaurants are close and so is the beach. The hosts are amazing!! They checked on us often and were easy to contact.
