Soccer tourney weekend stay

Cute small house located in a nice neighborhood. Easy access to beach and downtown Galveston. Nice outdoor seating area to relax after a long day!

Great property and owner was kind enough to let me arrive a little early. Owner has house well supplied and thought of everything. Loved this house so much that I found myself shopping for a little “shotgun” floorplan of my own. It was just me but this would be a great house for a family. I stayed at the Galvez hotel the week before but “Happy House” was 100 times better IMO!!! I am a picky guest… so a 5 star is hard to get from me. My only issue was a little stale odor at first but we gotta keep in mind this is 130 year old house!!! It wasn’t noticeable after the first day. Love this house and will definitely be back!!!
Owner thought of EVERYTHING!!!!
Owner has towels for “messy use”… make up, Mardi Gras Glitter, etc.

Fantastic property

We loved our stay at the Happy House. It is meticulously maintained, has everything you would need for your stay even down to toys and popsicles for the kids. Sara was extremely helpful and attentive. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Vacation Home

This is such a cute home in a nice historic neighborhood, perfect for our family. We enjoyed everything about it, enjoyed a drink on the patio after a long day on the beach. Close to everything. It has everything you need, we loved it!!

Beautiful home, excellent outdoor space

We really enjoyed this property, close to cruise terminals, clean, safe, and fun! We were celebrating a birthday and they had a banner and hats laid out waiting for us, really made our day!

Loved the Happy House!

We were very impressed with The Happy House. It was very clean and so well appointed. So comfortable and in everyway! And Sara was a excellent host. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Galveston.

We loved this property and the delightful host was amazing and super responsive to any questions we had. I slept in the green room bed and it was so nice and not a hard mattress! It’s located at a great spot if you want to shoot to the seawall and go to the beach or shoot the opposite way and head to the strand! Thank you for the wonderful stay and all the attentive features! The little touches all around the house are so cute and well thought of.

Cute, historic cottage!

Great little house in the old part of Galveston. We loved the little courtyard. Walkable to the Strand and the Beach. The cottage is small, but we'll laid out, so plenty of room for my wife and me and our two teenagers!

Historic East End Charmer

Comfortable cottage with great walkability to all conveniences. Cozy, clean accommodations and well outfitted kitchen. Communication and access was flawless. Hope to be back next year !

Great birthday getaway

The Happy House is a terrific. It is in the historic area of Galveston which makes it even more charming . The furnishings and beds are comfy, and the kitchen and bathroom are stocked with the essentials. It was a perfect house for a weekend birthday celebration. I definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful home in a quiet area

We enjoyed our stay at Happy House. Sara communicated well and was great recommendations. There were extra toiletries and towels in the bathroom. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and can't wait to return.

Excellent family getaway

Stayed at the happy house with my husband and two young children. We all had a fantastic time, and the house has everything we could’ve needed! Even being so hot, the outdoor space was such an added bonus. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood close to so much that Galveston has to offer, and we can’t wait to get back and explore even more!

Perfect location

From beginning to end, property owner was always in contact with us making the whole process extremely easy. The house upon arrival was clean and just a perfect little house for me, the wife and 2 teenage daughters. Location was just a perfect as it took us 10 minutes or less to get anywhere we wanted to go.

Relaxing Stay in Galveston

The house instructions were great. Upon arriving the home was nicer in person than in pictures which says a lot. It is gorgeous inside and out. We have stayed at quite a few homes over the years and this one was the BEST stocked home by far. Comfortable and clean, we can't wait to make staying here a summer family tradition.

I stayed during Halloween week and was surprised to arrive and find the house decorated for the holiday. Instant smile and definitely set the mood for the rest of the stay. The place is exactly as descried and the beds are super comfortable. The outdoor area is a plus. This is a sweet gem hidden in the historic area.

Short but Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our recent stay. This is a cute cottage and quite well done. Cleanliness on our arrival was very good. Communications with the owner were easy and very responsive. We found the beds to be quite comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. Enjoyed using the outdoor courtyard. Comfortable and nicely landscaped. The only downside is the cottage is a bit small and living room and kitchen seating was tight for 4 adults.
