Samurise Daruma is a convenient place to stay for visiting Mt Fuji and the five lakes region. The self check-in option is convenient. The area around the property is easy to navigate. Fujikyu station is just a few steps away. The property is a little dated but clean and has everything you need for a short stay.

This is a nice and large whole house that isn't really near much of anything other than a large grocery store. A little hard to find, basically go past the turn in for the grocery store and its immedietly on the left where the cabs park. It was clear that this is an older house that has been smoked in for many years so the smell still lingers quite a bit. However, you get used to it quickly and it seems clean and well maintained. Huge by the standards of Japan. Overall a nice experience of a more traditional Japanese lifestyle.
