Do NOT believe this hotel when they say that some of there rooms are “ocean view”! Ha! The pictures lie! It shows this huge ocean view in the pictures but there is no ocean view! All of the trees have grown to block the ocean view! This hotel is only 3 levels high and doesn’t show any ocean! AND them claiming they have “private direct beach access”?! Lies! The area is blocked off by the city due to beach erosion from the past hurricane and the beach has not recovered. The closest access is a mile down the road and the entire beach has erosion in that area so the beach is not enjoyable in the least. And I don’t understand why they also claim they are on a private island?! It’s not! When getting off the freeway you drive thru the hood for about 4 miles until you reach the hotel. All of the cheaper fast food restaurants are in the hood 4 miles from hotel! The only restaurants around the hotel are expensive bar and grills. Now let’s get to the age of this hotel, she’s older and the pictures online do not show this. To get in our room we had to literally body slam the door each time to get it to open due to it sticking and the age! Mold stains on the ceiling from what I’m guessing is water damage! The one positive review they get out of me is this, your housekeepers these women are keeping your hotel open I promise you that. Because the beds and floors and bathroom were immaculately clean because you could tell someone actually detail cleaned them.

The room was nothing like the pictures or even pool. Room was run down cabinets dirty and old and had nails in them the dressers in rooms couldn't be used when you pulled the drawers out the fell off the slides. The bathroom floors and trim were so dirty and gross. The door to room barley held it locked it was rotten and the striker plates were falling off. AC was broken when we got there. They did get it fixed following day. Didn't get our 40 dollar gift card and the BBQ grill was rusted out could not use. Pool was never cleaned and all the grounds bushes were all over grown. We were not picky people what so ever but this place was false advertising.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel has a large for sale sign in the front of it. Rooms were clean, but the whole place is a bit tired. Chairs on deck were hard plastic, no arms, not comfortable. No tissues in room. Tv kept buffering. Location is great, close to water and restaurants.

This was absolutely disgusting. Cigarette butts all over outside, stains on furniture. Smelled terrible. Door looks like its been kicked in. Pool was dirty and unswimmable. This was the worst place i have ever seen. Photos are a lie amd this shouldn't even be on hotels.com website. Irresponsible to rent this place out

The property is very dated. Photos are not reality. entry door paint in poor shape. Mold around the tub and floor around the tub. patio out back is very pedestrian. internet comes in and out. bed sinks in the middle. I always come to Hutchinson Island for the holidays and will never, ever stay at this property again. NEVER.
