First, calling this place a "hotel' is a bit of a stretch. There is no lobby, no front desk, no "hotel" stuff. You get an email with the door code to get into the courtyard and your room. More emails about local attractions, etc. All communication with the manager was via email or chat. From the street it looks very unimpressive.
The only hotel staff we met was a maid, who was abrupt and unfriendly.
The room was apparently recently remodeled, but missed a lot of amenities. For example, the bathroom while huge, had no place near the sink to put your toiletries or to hang a toiletries kit from. There was only one towel hook. The room also was really spacious, but there was no desk or table where you might have wanted to eat if you brought in take-out. No luggage stand for baggage.
The courtyard and tiny pool were clean, but wholly uninviting.
All that said, the room was clean, it is close to the beach and lots of restaurants and shopping, only 20 minutes or so from the airport, small and quiet, fast secure internet, and was one of the least expensive options in the area.
