Upon arrival we noticed the building was very old and out of date. When we got to our room, it had a distinct odor and the door was catching so it was difficult to lock. The weather was in the mid 20 low 30s so we tried to switch the AC unit to heat and had no luck. We called the front desk and were told that the heat setting did not work and that someone would bring us an electric heater. We waited for the heater for about 20 mins and had to call again to see where they were. A guy brought the heater and we realized it didn’t work! At that point, we just went to bed freezing because it was after 12am. Overall, it was a place to lay down. Nothing to praise about this place. Very disappointed especially since it was $200 for that night.

We arrived at the Hotel early around 10:30 am because returning from a Cruise. Our check in time was 3pm. So of course we didn’t expect to be checked in at that time. I booked 2 rooms. It was 2 disabled seniors in my party so it would have been nice if we could have been accommodated sooner. We kept being told no rooms were ready but as I was sitting in the lobby I would over hear them tell other early customers they could get in the room for a $20 plus tax fee which they accepted and received a room. This was NEVER offered to us. When we did get our 2 rooms at three even though we had a pre check in we had to go thru the process all over again. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The only disappointing things about the room is that the floor was dirty. I had on white socks and from my bed to the bathroom they got black and there was no ventilation in the bathroom so upon taking a shower the floor was moist and slippery so we had to use towels to get up the condensation.
