No towels in the room when I checked in. Front desk had only a few towels to offer me after checking in. Next day, I asked the housekeeper for towels and she didn’t have any. I even asked a manager who promised to leave towels in my room only to come back and not find any. I then asked the lady at the front desk for towels and she told me that they were in the dryer and also promised to have some towel dropped off in my room. Came back and nothing was in the room. I asked the night shift guy for towels and he said they are in the dryer. I told him that I asked in the morning and they told me the same thing. By the time I went to my room and came back downstairs he had miraculously found some towels for me but still no hand towels.
Lids for coffee cups were too large so Styrofoam cup ended up falling apart and the coffee fell everywhere including my leg. I have burn marks to prove it. I did mention it to the lady at the front desk. She had someone bring the right cups for the lids.
When I went back for coffee the next morning the smaller styrofoam cups were still there which is a safety hazard as someone else will get burn
Overall the stay was awful. Never had any hand towels the whole stay. I had already paid for the hotel and didn’t want to lose my money but I will never stay at La Quinta. How can you be a Hotel and not have towels for your guests?
