Booked this place on Orbitz at 9:30 at night, exhausted and just looking for a bed. Walked into the room and was immediately greeted by what can only be described as a dog diarrhea crime scene—a giant, dried stain dead center of the floor. Not hidden. Not subtle. Bold. Confident. Like it paid rent.
Went down to the front desk to speak with Mari (with an “I”), hoping for the bare minimum of customer service. Instead, I was told they couldn’t switch rooms because “all the rooms are stained” and the floors were scheduled to be replaced in August.
So… you KNOW they’re disgusting, but you’re still renting them out? Cool strategy.
Then came the highlight of the evening: Mari informed us that we should never walk in the hotel without shoes on.
Ma’am—if footwear is mandatory for survival, maybe the issue isn’t the guests. Maybe it’s the biohazard flooring.
We immediately left (obviously), because sleeping next to mystery feces isn’t on our travel bucket list. The hotel refused to issue a refund, which says everything you need to know. Thankfully, Orbitz stepped up and refunded us, because apparently they have higher cleanliness standards than the actual hotel.

Filthy floors
Zero accountability
Being blamed for expecting cleanliness
And staff who casually admit the entire place is stained
…then congratulations, you’ve found your spot.
Everyone else: RUN. And keep your shoes on. Apparently forever.
