Great hosts at La Villa dei Limone

Giuseppe and his wife were very attentive hosts. They were able to help arrange many things for us, including a caterer for dinners at the villa. The property was very grand and was the perfect size for our family of 10. The 2 kids enjpyed the pool. The villa is a little dated and could use a refesh in the kitchen and bathrooms. All in all, we enjoyed our time at La Villa dei Limone

Family celebration

Beautifully located, La Villa dei Limoni offered a perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing holiday, situated with an impressive mountainous backdrop yet in full view of a panoramic vista. The villa itself is spacious, it easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 3 children and at no time did we feel overcrowded. Living and eating spaces both indoor and outdoor were comfortable and well furnished. Bedrooms are large and nicely furnished. Important features such as air conditioning and laundry facilities worked well. The outdoor spaces provided space for the children to play and a generous area to sunbathe if desired with plenty sun loungers and umbrellas; the above ground swimmimg pool provided a welcome retreat in the heat of the day. Our host Giuseppe was very near at hand to meet any enquiry and provide information if required. He is a very congenial and accommodating host. As a family we enjoyed our holiday tremendously and I would be very happy to recommend La Villa dei Limoni.

Beautiful, peaceful and spacious

Giuseppe is a fantastic host and was available for anything we needed before and during our stay. He is happy to give recommendations for the local fish market and restaurants. We stayed in July and were happy to have AC in almost all bedrooms and downstairs in common areas. Rooms without AC had fans, which was great. The kitchen is huge and the outside area has plenty of loungers, a small pool, and a spacious seating area. Our group consisted of 3 families with children and teenagers. We had PLENTY of space to spread out and communal areas could seat all of us. The location is gorgeous! A short drive out of downtown Formia was perfect to escape the crowds and have a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The beach is a short drive. The views of the sea and surrounding mountains are incredible. We will definitely be back and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!!

Recommend highly this villa

Excellent location, panoramic views all round. Enjoyed our stay and recommend this villa if staying in Formia. Pool is only a dipping pool and not a swimming pool, but still good.

Fabulously spacious and relaxed

The house is as pictured... but super spacious. Plenty room for us all... 4 adults and 5 LARGE teenagers :-) The pool is for keeping cool.. not lap swimming but it's a very easy drive to lots of gorgeous beaches. Do visit maranola village nearby and eat at Ostaria 43. Giuseppe was a perfectly gracious host. He and his wife keep the villa spotlesdly clean. The views from the balconies and patios are stunning... we are just sad to leave. Thank you Giuseppe.

We had a wonderful time

We traveled with 3 families, 12 persons in total and we enjoyed our stay very much. Every minor issue was fixed immediately. The kids loved the pool and so ce we had two very hot weeks we enjoyed the air condition in the kitchen and most of the bedrooms. Thank you very much for having us.

Espace et Panorama splendide

Nous étions 10 adultes dans cette grande et belle maison. Nous avons profité des temps ensemble et de temps pour s'isoler. Giuseppe et son épouse ont été de très bon Conseil pour nous guider et répondre à nos questions. Nous les remercions de nous avoir accueillis au mois de mars alors que la maison ne se loue qu'à partir d'avril et d'avoir "poussé" un peu plus le chauffage. Une semaine ressource et bien être 😄

Bellissima Villa tra mare e montagna

La villa è veramente bella e dotata di ogni comfort, dispone di ben 6 stanze da letto ed ognuna spaziosa e confortevole. La proprietà dispone anche di una bella Piscina dove potersi rilassare e godere di una vista mozzafiato con affaccio sul golfo di Gaeta. Il mare è raggiungibile in 10/15 minuti di auto (ma attenzione al traffico nei mesi caldi) e lo stesso vale per la montagna. Ideale secondo me per famiglie o gruppi numerosi e con bambini eventualemnete dai 6 anni in su.

Accesso impossibile ai disabili

Uno dei motivi x cui avevo scelto la sistemazione era la presenza di una camera per disabili al piano terra, motivo per cui avevo anche chiamato per accertarmi, grande delusione è stato il constatare che non fosse così. Nel nostro caso il disabile cammina con deambulatore e non su sedia a rotelle altrimenti avremmo dovuto tornare indietro!! Nel bagno non esistono maniglioni per disabili e la doccia ha un gradino di 10 cm circa. La voglia di vacanza era talmente grande che ci siamo “ attrezzati” aiutandoci anche con la la doccia esterna, ma ripeto non è corretto.lla doccia era inoltre fissa e non a telefono ed abbiamo dovuto mettere una sedia di ferro all interno.
