Clean pet friendly home in great location, at home convenience for hotel prices. Attentive communication with property manager. Would definitely stay here again! Check in app is cumbersome but not a showstopper.

Wonderful home

This property is wonderful. Enjoyed the stay with my parter and 2 puos. The neighbirhood is quiet and perfect for walking the dogs. Very much enjouyed the ammenities

Cute and cozy

Great spot. Easy, walkable location. Enjoyed breakfast at Gus’s Diner and amazing dinner at Roux 25. Hist was very responsive and accommodating.

Lets start with pros. Host was phenomenal, price was fairish. Location is in the center of Folsom and within walking distance of the park. Cast iron tub is cool. They allow large dogs with 75 dollar fee. Cute layout.Cons: Counted five roaches in the first five minutes. Later greeted by termites too.Front blinds are broken. The floor sags underfoot in hall and bathroom(Im 6ft 200lbs). Mold is growing in the bathroom. Bathroom has no vent fan. Would stay there again if there was a vent fan in the bathroom. House definitely could use some TLC and a reputable finish carpenter.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came to Folsom to visit the Global Wildlife Center. We live a couple hours out of town and just wanted a place to stay for the night. The Cottage is beyond cozy and it was only 10 minutes from the center! Talk about a great location! It was perfect. Virginia was great from the moment we booked!

My sister and I stayed 3 nights at the Cleveland Street Cottage. The house was beautifully decorated with a large living room, well equipped kitchen, bathroom and 2 cozy bedrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings sipping our coffee. We took advantage of the available jigsaw puzzles and put one together during our stay. The property host, Virginia, was easy to contact and was timely in her responses to our questions.

Roaches and Rudeness

There were Roaches in the home, spider webs, and dirty dishes. I can see outside through the back door. I didn't say anything while we were there as I couldn't find another place to stay with such short notice. Check out day, I texted the owner asking for a later checkout then I proceeded to wash dishes, towels, strip the beds etc as asked in checkout instructions. She showed up asking if we were her tenants and we said yes. She proceeded to tell me I need to get out immediately and I'm trespassing. She just kept saying you need to leave or I'm calling the cops to which I said please do bc your being rude as hell for no reason. I said she may need to get rid of the Roaches and she said, "I am right now as soon as you leave there will be no more Roaches" She had, I guess her "cleaning" lady with her(should be fired bc that place was GROSS) and she started recording us so I started recording them and the taunting stopped after her berating me for close to 15 minutes. She told my daughter she feels sorry for her having such a trashy mom. She said I bet you didn't realize this was a ring doorbell. I said um yeah I knew that, I don't live in a cave! I told her it's good that it's recording bc it was documenting her lashing out and towering in the doorway causing me to have to push by her to get in and continue getting my things. I've rented ALOT of homes and this is the first time I've dealt with this madness. Be warned that she is rude, uncouth, and doesn't care about the cleanliness of her rental.

Perfect little cottage

We were delightfully surprised by this one. It was cute, clean, and roomy. Bathroom is a little small, but fine for one person at a time. Location could not have been any better. Would definitely stay here again.
