We like to stay at this location in Covington when on the North Shore even though getting there from 190 by the feeder road is a little inconvenient. We didn't have any notice til we arrived that the exterior is getting a new roof and facade, and roofers get started early . Being on the top floor, hammering was right over our heads. We're told the interior is being upgraded next, so be sure to check when, where, and how long they'll be working while you stay.

I paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub. It did not work. I reported it the first night and no one fixed it. The next day they didn't have another room available for me to move into until I would be out for a wedding. I asked for a partial refund, but no one there could process it. They said Matthew would be in at 3pm and could give me a partial refund. I continued to try to get the tub to work, but it didn't. One employee said I had to wait 5 minutes for it to kick in. I waited 10... nothing. When I wanted to check out, the refund had not been processed and the staff could not get in touch with Matthew about it. Matthew apparently ignored the note the staff left for him. I ended up being charged the full amount as I read in multiple places there was a 100% happiness guarantee. FAIL. I don't want "points" to go toward a future stay. I want cash money refunded to me for the poor service. To top it off, the food was not good either. Also, the room door scrubs on the floor as it is opened and the bathroom smell isn't very pleasant. Someone went in my room when I had the do not disturb sign on the door handle. I won't stay here ever again.

I love staying here. Stay here anytime I go to the area. Great value with Hilton Rewards program. It is easily accessible from I-12. Close to shopping and restaurants. Way cheaper than staying in New Orleans; plus it is not a bad commute to the city.

Chatty Cathy for a desk clerk. Chatted up a storm (over 15 minutes) about nonsense with a guest already checked in while others waited to be checked in. Room was disgusting - toenail clippings on floor by bed with dead skin. Coffee maker didn't work. Plugs in room were all loose and didn't work. Bed was a hard rock and pillows offered no support. No blanket for the bed, just a spread which all guests previously must have used. I removed it and used only the sheet. ABSOLUTELY VILE.

My family and I were in town for my grandmother's funeral, so it was a tough time anyway. There is nothing overly great about this property, but it does have breakfast provided. That said, the customer service I received in the process of retrieving a lost item uncovered the lies and thefts that happen all too often at hotels-but my guess is it is worst at this property. Due to this, I would never suggest staying at this property, and pending the outcome of my situation, it would make me reconsider staying at Hilton ever again (and I've been an Honors member for over a decade). My family had 8 rooms at this property and stay often, but never again. Poor management

This property was old, run down and in disrepair. As a Diamond Honors member who stays over 80 nights a year at many Hampton properties, this is definitely on the low end. I would not stay here again or recommend.

fr the time I opened my room door(227) I was totally dissatisfied. First, I was in town to attend my grandmother’s funeral, so my emotional mood was not the greatest. The lampshades looked like someone just tossed them on there, the closet door did not open all the way, I could count the number of coils on our mattresses cause they felt like they were sticking out of the mattress itself, the pillows felt like they’ve been ran over by a Mack truck, the vent in the bathroom was literally hanging on by a thread, and the bathtub was clogged. I told the person at the front desk all these issues the morning of the funeral hoping I would come back to my room and be able to relax from this stressful day. But to my disappointment nothing was resolved. Being a diamond member, and who does a lot of traveling and always books at a HILTON property, I was expecting the same level of service I have always received from every other Hilton property but his was not the case. If you ever need to stay in NOLA or Covington, La please DO NOT stay at this property

Excellent check in process. You can do on the road and everything is ready when you arrive. Front desk staff was very friendly and ready to assist with local dining options. Road noise was minimal. Breakfast was great.

Husband and I were on a mini vacation and I misplaced my phone, license, and credit card. Shane with Hampton Inn found them in the hotel and had them waiting on me when we returned. Can’t thanknhim enough for that. Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. All of the staff was friendly. We will be back!!!

Hampton is my hotel chain of choice. I stay with them when they are close to my destination. The quality is consistent and the room fee includes breakfast. This Hampton is clean, but our room (on the first floor) smelled like a wet puppy. The furnishings were a bit worn, and there were signs of water damage- dark spots on the walls and ceilings. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.
