If you like staying in a hostel or barracks, this is the place for you. If you want a hotel experience, do not stay here. Sheets come in plastic bags. You put them on the beds yourself. The beds feel like a hostel. There is no TV in the room. The building is old and outdated. A youth camp was set up right outside our door. Backpacks and jackets covered the walkway to our room. There was no clear numbering system. We were not told our room was downstairs. Signage across the property was poor. Finding the dining hall, pool, or basic locations felt like guesswork. The front desk staff who checked us in was rude. This was our main staff interaction. The staff member at the Aspen dining hall was kind, which stood out. The dining hall felt like a mess hall. They call it a buffet. It was overpriced. The food was practically inedible in our opinion. The space was packed with hundreds of youth group teenagers. Seating was hard to find. Noise levels were intense. The pool was freezing cold. The lifeguards stared people down like drill sergeants. It did not feel welcoming. Cleanliness was acceptable but not great. This property should not be marketed to regular hotel guests. It is better suited for Christian youth camps. If you want a summer camp experience with guided activities and minimal amenities, this might work for your family. If you want comfort, quiet, or a traditional hotel stay, look elsewhere.

Staff was not nice. I booked a 2 bunk bed room, got sent to a single handicapped bunk bed room, because the other room was not clean. Donnie said we do not have any room that has 2 bunk beds, the front manager was denfending this guy. This guy also said expedia lies a lot... overall the rooms are worse than motel 6... two stars for the location only ..

The hotel is very good, it has many activities to do, the space is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, however the room is HORRIBLE, totally small, it was mentioned that it fits up to 6 people but we were 3 and it was super cramped, the smell of old carpet is very bad, there is no TV because it's so small, we stayed in the basement and the noise from people walking on the floor above is enormous, we constantly heard people's footsteps overhead, the water pipes make noise all night, in short we do not recommend the room we stayed in.

They allowed us to check in early, however when we go to the room the room wasn’t quite ready. Aside from that, everything else was very nice. We had an amazing time in the property and activities they had to offer.
