The Royal Hotel was beautiful. The rooms were on the small side but the beds were big and so comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything in the French Quarter is within walking distance of this hotel. Magical!

Conveniently located, clean with covered parking, pool and bar, great rooms ample living room and bathrooms. All kitchen tools for cooking and a great bar for entertaining. Great choice

This could be a good hotel, but the staff (particularly the night staff) is poorly trained and lacking in basic people skills. The front entrance doors and the lobby give a truly awful first impression, and the whole building smells moldy. The morning staff were much cheerier and welcoming and the room was less awful than the lobby suggested it might be. It's next door to the Pontchartrain, which is lovely but can be super busy and has no parking. If you're looking for a boutique hotel experience, the Hotel Henrietta is better, and has parking.

Absolutely lovely and helpful staff! The speakeasy was everything. It is the perfect location for romance or sight-seeing….highly recommend!
