The Snug is in an excellent location for exploring the local area, The Kelpies and Falkirk wheel were the highlight. Edinburgh offers easy access via the train at Blackridge train station, free parking and cost £27 for a couple via an off peak return ticket. The hosts at The Snug, Allison and Graeme are really friendly and offer lots of practical advice on places to visit and eat and are always on hand if you need help or advice. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property.Really beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean, and ideally placed between Glasgow and Edinburgh with easy access to both cities either by car or train.I never thought I would be sat in a hot tub in Scotland, in January with snow on the ground on a perfectly clear starlit night, but I was and it was magical.

All in all a very good location.
All in all a very good location. We were contacted by the owner before we got there which we thought was very good. Once we arrived at the Snug we were greeted by the owner Alison. A very warming welcome, much appreciated. The Snug is very well equipped with every thing you would need. Alison was at hand for any questions and was more than obliging to obtain more info on sights to see.A very lovely location. Thank you again Alison for such a lovely 4 nights in The Snug. We highly recommend The Snug.

This was a truly amazing find.
This was a truly amazing find. Allison and Graham hosts of the snug were brilliant. The welcome and the Snug were second to non. The place and views were stunning. The hot tub was a bonus for us and we did use it. Everything in the snug you needed was there. Also the extra mile given was so kind and thoughtful. Both a bottle of Prosecco and bottle of beer to the amazing hamper. Pure joy to stay there. We will be back.
