This property is located in the lovely Canal Park neighborhood of Duluth, MN. There were carriage rides available on the south end of the property. The pool was clean (a little heavy on the chlorine) and safe. There was a lot of walking area surrounding the property and a beach less than a block away.

This hotel had a great view. Friendly staff really good. Breakfast variety room was clean and tidy. Only bad thing was there were idiots outside with water balloons at midnight but not the hotel's fault.

We’ve stayed there before, but this time was not as good an experience. The room was much smaller and with less amenities as the room (by the same name/description) that we stayed in previously. The breakfast area was so over-crowded we had to take food back to our (tiny) room, our room was incredibly noisy from the adjacent common areas, and staff barely said a word to folks.

Spent the night in Duluth to attend a concert at Bayfront Park. Hotel was easy walking distance to the venue. Hotel and room were very clean. Big porch was inviting and right on the Lakewalk. Watched a couple of lakers leave the harbor from our room.

Great location - close to Lift Bridge and Canal Park dining with a great view of Lake Superior and Lighthouse. Noisey if room is above lobby area, though.
