This one-of-a-kind Treehouse Yurt is your PERFECT getaway from city life! Located in the heart of Texas winery and brewery country, your day trips are only minutes away in every direction! This one bedroom (king bed) is hosted by Airbnb's 2022 Top New Host of the State of Texas!
Relax in the spa, stargaze, or sit around the fire under a 300-year-old Live Oak Tree! The Tangled Oak Yurt is tucked away on a beautiful 9-acre property and offers all your modern amenities plus a king-size bed!
The Tangled Oak Yurt:
Tucked among a magical Live Oak, this 16-sided wooden yurt offers a cozy retreat with modern comforts and plenty of charm. Nestled under the canopy of the 300+ year old tree, it feels like a treehouse hideaway with a touch of luxury!
Inside the Yurt:
-King bed with plush memory foam mattress
-Full-size couch + 50" Roku TV for movie nights
-Mini-split A/C & heat to keep you comfortable year-round
-Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, induction burner, fridge/freezer, sink, and fully stocked Keurig coffee bar
-Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, full vanity, fresh linens, towels, and toiletries
Outdoor Living:
-Large front deck with propane grill and fire pit (perfect for s’mores or stargazing)
-Bistro lights and outdoor dining area for evening meals under the trees
-Stunning views of the Hill Country night sky

-Skylight dome + 5 windows fill the space with natural light (note: no skylight covering)

The Tangled Oak Yurt is one of three cabins on the property (two yurts and an A-frame).
Guests have access to the entire cabin/patio and surrounding grounds.
Do not climb or pass through any fences, or approach any other cabins as other guests may be present.
The front gate to the property and the front door to the yurt are equipped with keypad entry. The private code for entry will be given to guests prior to arrival.
Other things to note
There are 3 separate rentals on the property (See aerial photo for location reference). They are designed to feel as private as possible from each other.
The yurts are separated from each other by a privacy fence, as well as facing opposite directions.
Grill and fire pit are propane fueled (which we provide)
Cell service can be spotty —WiFi calling/streaming usually reliable (Starlink)
15 minutes to nearest grocery store, 10 minutes to a convenience store
Unpaved but well-maintained driveway (expect a little Texas dust!)
No smoking or pets allowed

The cabin is air-conditioned and features a balcony and 1.5 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom and a dining area. My husband and I enjoyed two relaxing nights in the yurt. The sprawling, beautiful oak tree overlooking the patio is spectacular and impossible to capture in photos. Derek is very prompt in responding to any questions. We had fun playing the outdoor games. The place is beautiful, well equipped and looks just like the photos in the listing.

Terrific place but not clean
Everything about the place was exactly as described and pictured except the cleanliness . All of the glass surfaces were dirty, the mirrors, shower door, microwave (tv had a large handprint right in the middle). There were long hairs in the shower and silverware drawer. The floor was really dirty, my husbands socks turned brown.
Aside from that the place is charming and has a great atmosphere and surrounding area. The only reason I can’t leave 5 stars is the cleanliness.

Exactly as described. Well appointed and comfortable. We loved the illusion of being up in a tall tree while only a few feet off the ground. We knew the Yurt was basically ground level but it felt line we were high up!
