Hyatt Regency Boston
3/5 Okay
"The service at the hotel was good and the overall property was decent. However, we specifically booked this hotel because there were evil our group and the room was supposed to include a sofa bed.
While the sofa bed was prepared when we arrived, the mattress was extremely poor quality—you could feel every spring and even the metal frame underneath, making it completely unusable.
We requested a rollaway bed instead, and the staff brought one quickly, but unfortunately that mattress wasn’t much better. It was mostly springs covered in fabric and still very uncomfortable. We ultimately had to go to a nearby Macy’s to buy a mattress pad just so the third person in our group could sleep somewhat comfortably.
The staff tried to help, but the hotel really needs to upgrade the quality of their additional bed mattresses, or stop advertising that they have them."
