These places are nothing more than a get your head down stop off whilst on the road! Staff tend to be helpful and pleasant, the places are rough and ready but serve their purpose and offer good value

Poorly chosen property for our stay. So really cannot blame anyone else than me. Room was really small, we did have our own bathroom though. Room was clean. The breakfast was not worth it.

The room was cheap so we knew what we were getting, but the floors were dirty and the sink wasn't much better. The shower closest to our room was broken and the receptionist didn't like the English clearly. When asked "Parlez Vous Anglais", "a little" she sneered and then went into a diatribe of if I come to England I have to speak English you should speak french... Most hotels I've been to in the UK cater to other languages!

We were looking for a short cheap overnight stay after a 10 hour drive and a similar drive the next day with an early start. We just needed a comfortable room for the night. On arrival our room had no bathroom (this certainly wasn’t clear from the Hotels.com ad) and we were advised it’s communal though the showers don’t work, the aircon unit did not work, and towels were an extra charge. Overall I leave you to conclude our assessment!

Traveling across France this was an easy stop over close to the autoroute. The check in was simple and the rooms are clean, minimalistic and comfortable with plenty of hot water. There is a large shopping center and places to eat a comfortably 10 minute walk away. It was everything we wanted for a single night stop over.

F1 Dijon nord

I would have given five stars had they put a bed sheet on top of the mattress protector. There wasn’t any soap either. Glad we paid a bit extra for ensuite, which was very compact but did the job. Nice and quiet but didn’t like sleeping without a sheet on the bed.

Low cost moderate service

With the cost I paid I got a better service. The room was clean and shared bathrooms had shower jell. The hotel is 10 min walking distance from public transport services. For those who come with thier own car, it is easily accessible.

The rooms were boiling and there was no soap anywhere. The beds were comfortable and the check in fine. It is a very budget hotel with bathrooms down the corridor. Ladder to the bed over the double bed quite awkward.

Easy to find. Quiet location. Had to wait 20 mins to check in and although reception 24/7..no-one there for a while. Outside not well maintained. Car park not secured by keypad controlled gate. Air Conditioning in room barely worked. We could only sleep because we bought our own fan. I saw others sleeping in car park or sat in reception as rooms were too hot

Bed bugs

We booked for just a few hours sleep on a long journey. The room would have been fine for this if it hadn’t stank of cigarette smoke. Sadly we also found a bed bug when we woke up in the morning followed by bites appearing over the next few days. Fingers crossed we haven’t brought any home with us!

Its cheap and you get what you pay for. The shared toilet facilities were actually quite good although en-suite would be obviously preferred, it wasn't made worse by horrible toilets. When re-entering the room there was a slightly displeasing odour but it was soon unnoticeable. Beds weren't uncomfortable but the pillows were and could have done with more than 1 each. Breakfast was as you'd expect for €3.50, coffee, juice, cereals and bread were sufficient to hold me through to lunch but by no means luxury. Location is perfect, easy close connection to the motorway.
