We were told we could come check in at 3. We got there at 3 and the Carley (2nd in contact for property) was still cleaning. No big deal, she was working hard to get it clean for us. While we waited we went to check out the pool that is photoed to advertise the property. When we got to the pool, the workers at the entrance told us that it would be $20 a person a day to swim. We went back to the house. It was about 3:30 and Carley was getting in her car. We flagged her down to ask her about it bc she told us she was our point of contact. She blew it off as if they were incorrect and said that we would just call the rec center, show them the reservation, and we should get in. We did that and they said the same. If we were not the owners to the home and had proof of ownership/membership or with that person then it would cost $20 a person (regardless of age) a day. I contacted the number that the property owner gave me and Carley and left a message. She texted me back saying she would figure it out and never got back with me.
On top of all of this, the AT&T and Verizon service is very spotty in this neighborhood, the 4 TV gaming room TV’s are nearly impossible to figure out. I also contacted her about this issue to see if she could walk me through it. She said she would ask and never got back to me. I will add that I have 4 very tech savvy people in my family that are also gamers and it took them an hour the first time to figure it out and about 20 mins to get it to work before we could play a game or watch tv each day.
We were told that 2 people could park in driveway and one on the curb in front of the house and every night there was random car or truck parked in front of the house. That made us block our driveway in and have to rearrange vehicles all of the time when people had to leave.
The upstairs was pretty hot the entire stay, however we have rentals and know it is hard to cool a house down when it is this hot. It got up to 99 while we were there… which is why the pool shown in the photos would have been nice to enjoy.
The yard was well kept and the house provided necessities that most other houses do not like dish soap, TP, washing detergent, spices, etc. However the grill (also mentioned in description) wouldn’t work due to all 5 bottles of propane being completely empty.
Lastly, every night around 6 there was a terrible methane/dog poop smell around the lasted until 10 or later. We couldn’t eat outside due to the smell.
