The hotel itself was awesome. The parking situation was a whole different story! The hotel has two parking garages, one for the north tower and one for the south tower. There are not enough parking spots in the parking garage to accommodate the guests of the hotel. The hotels solution to the problem is for you to park along the walls of the garage which causes choke points reducing the two lane garage to a single lane. There is signage throughout the garage saying do not park along the walls or you will be towed. Thankfully we were not towed! The other option the hotel offered was to park across the street in the public garage which was 40 a day and the hotel refused to reimburse the parking fee because the hotel staff advised us to park along the walls in their parking garage.

The property was perfect!! It had shops and diners opposite it, literally backs into the beach and is really well presented. The room was amazing, huge, clean and had everything you might need, and the balcony that faced the beach was extraordinary! 10/10 will recommend and be returning.

Our beach view was slightly obstructed; however, they were able to accommodate us for early check in which was great. The room was clean and they assisted us with any questions that we had during our stay.

Our only complaint was with the check in process. There are only a few (less than 10) luggage carts for dozens of families checking in at the same time. Additionally, because everyone checked in at the same time, there were extremely long lines for the elevators. Security had to override the elevator system to get people up and down. This happened several days in a row during check in time. We had to wait over 30 minutes for an elevator to get our luggage/groceries/coolers up to the 23rd floor, hand carrying all of it because there were no luggage racks available. Just poor coordination and oversight from an extremely large facility. The room and property itself was beautiful and comfortable and exactly as advertised.

Great location, updated spacious room. Only issue was the internet and WiFi not working during the day. Also felt like the front desk pushed their sales presentation on us too much - we said we weren’t interested and that we didn’t have time and they kept pushing us to attend.

The advertisement on the VRBO and Koala sites were ocean view, the name of the place is 'Ocean Walk', but our room was out back on the 11th floor, overlooking the parking decks and the street with terribly loud and obnoxious motorcycles all early for the Daytona Bike Week that started the next week. The people at the resort desk explained to us that their members rent the rooms and supply the verbiage. They don't have much control over who rents out which units and where they are in the resort, but they did move us up from the 11th to the 22nd floor. Still sounded like we were on the ground floor with the bikes. I would never have gone here if I knew this. I will never go here again. I should have done my due diligence. It's my fault really, but VRBO could do more to protect consumers by making resort renters post their unit numbers on their ads so that we can call to find out where the rooms are in the resort. If that had been done here, for example, I could have called the resort, asked where the room was, and then known to avoid it like the plague.

From start to finish we really enjoyed our stay. The staff we talked to during check-in was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy enough and they had plenty of carts to get our things to our room in one trip. The room was perfect for us. We used the bed the sleeper sofa and there was still room for an air mattress. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was very nice. Location is everything and we had no problems finding somewhere to eat close by. We spent a lot of the time at the track and getting a ride over there was easy as well. When we head back for more racing this will definitely be the first place I check for a room.
