La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas I-35 Walnut Hill Ln

There was no shower curtain an no drain stopper in the tub. We couldn't take a bath or shower. If you even touched the bed the springs would start squeeking. You could hear people in the hallway hallway all night. The property was extremely clean.

The staff were fine but the hotel was quite loud from auto and jet traffic. Noise from the hallway was also a factor but turning on the AC fan helped. Breakfast was not bad. There are restaurants and a gas station/ store within a block but I wouldn't reccomend exploring after dark. The pool and facilities were clean. Our rooms were well kept and had no odor. The general area is run down and slammed by traffic. The hotel seems older and a bit worn but served our needs. Overall it was fine.

My parents and I stayed one night. The hotel was nice, the staff did their job but have no personality. They do not greet on arrival or any pleasantries exchanged. This is winter, 36 degrees outside and probably 39 degrees inside the hotel. The room was very cold and we had to call for someone to come fix heater. He came quickly but the room temp never made it to 65 degrees. We froze all night. Breakfast area was worse, it was about 40 degrees in there. I had to huddle over my waffle. The coffee was also cold.

The pictures of the hotel on the Orbitz website are not from the actual hotel. Do not stay here if your looking for a clean & smoke free stay. The bathroom was disgusting and obviously had not not been cleaned. The smell of smoke and marijuana in our room was so strong after just a short time in the room two of my children were complaining of headaches. Also - Orbitz would do nothing. I was willing to pay the difference in room prices to move to a different hotel and they would not accommodate. Orbitz has offered no compensation or advice to help resolve my family’s situation. While I was not expecting the greatest hotel experience, I was definitely not prepared for the unsanitary conditions or the dishonesty of the hotel’s supposed accommodations.

Hotel was under construction so not at it’s best AND prostitutes along with other sketchy people made me feel unsafe just driving up…..ended up not actually staying.

The bedding was extremely dirty with stains on all not some but all the pillows, sheets. The hotel look low rent quality. It has a smell. They were nice to try to change me to another room but that room was also dirty. I asked for new pillows and they brought me more dirty ones. I would not stay here ever again. The front office staff was nice though.

There was a party outside of the building both nights we stayed. The party has incredibly loud bass thumping, rocking the building, to the point we could feel it and we were on the 3rd floor. We could not sleep at all. Our contact to the main desk, after we had to plug in the phone, found the response was nothing could be done about it. We asked if 311 could be called for noise ordinance. The answer was nothing would be done. We are not talking about an 11:00 pm party, but rather a up to 3:00 am party. Awful. What do you have a night guardman for anyway? I know its for safety given the area, however, do they not also insure the comfort of the guests with going ons in the parking area or generally vicinity?Terrible, terrible, no sleep. It's really a shame, because we always stay here for the large bowling tournaments right across the Walnut Hill road, at USA Bowl. Never again.

Staff was wonderful and they had a decent breakfast, but the hotel was dated and dirty.

It was horrible. I left 15 min after check in and went to a different hotel.

Great experience for my first time to Texas. It was close and convenient to the interstate as well as restaurants.

I stayed here on my trip to Dallas, the principal purpose of the trip was to attend the game, but as I had heard so much about the city I decided for a hotel in Dallas. That way everything was closer rather than if I have stayed on Arlington. Either way it was a very good hotel, nice service, comfy rooms and always clean. The rooms surprised me as they look very modern and well conserved. Includes free breakfast which was pretty good in my opinion. Recommended if you are short on cash.

The hotel seemed to have been recently updated and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room's air conditioner was lacking. It did not cool very well but upon check out I was assured that maintenance would take care of the problem promptly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
