The room had 2 pieces of hair on the bed. The sheets appeared to be clean, and I hope that was from the housekeeping as they put fresh sheets and a comforter on. I should have requested a new room. The AC unit was annoying. It kept making a strange noise every 5 minutes. My husband was too tired for us to try and get a new room. Also, the shower did not work properly. The water came half out of the spout and half out of the showerhead. At 7am, the noise from all the construction was heard because our room faced the street. The breakfast downstairs was not appetizing. There was the pancake machine, weird scrambled eggs, greasy cheese omelets, off-tasting sausage, hard biscuits, and gravy. But the coffee was great! I would not want to stay at this hotel again because of the room. However, the service was excellent. The night front desk staff was so friendly and made everyone feel welcome. The lady at the breakfast area was also friendly, even if she did not speak much. I like how the hotel lets the staff grab coffee and food. Why let it go to waste if no one is eating it.
