My wife and I had planned a getaway for our 10th anniversary. Our first trip away from our children just us since they were all born. After a 4 hour drive, we were notified 30 minutes before our check in time that our reservation had been canceled due to the property being double booked. The email stated someone had been staying there for the past 5 days. My question is, if this was true, why were we not notified 5 days in advance as opposed to 30 minutes? It was incredibly disappointing to have our only opportunity for a getaway ruined by the incredible mismanagement of this company. I would look elsewhere and avoiding booking any with them.
