Great service at the front desk, they recommended some local restaurants and pubs to try during my stay. Room was very cool! A bit of a maze to get to, but it had a lovely view and was very cozy. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

The hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants. Brauhaus Paeffgen (a favourite) is minutes away. The Dom and Hbf are a 15-20 minute walk away. The hotel is clean, our room was spacious, though some of the decor is a little tired. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. I would stay again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience to help future travelers make an informed decision. Based on the photos and description, the property appears to be a reasonable option, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. While I understand that older hotels may not have been recently renovated, the bigger issue for me was cleanliness. The room and common areas did not appear to be maintained to an acceptable standard, and I often felt uncomfortable using the facilities. The property seems quite dated, and better upkeep and more thorough cleaning would make a significant difference. A couple of key points: - Staff gave for out two guest stay only one key. - St one point the front desk person was not there, and if it wasn’t for my other fellow traveler none of us would have gotten in the door since the front door was locked. - The AC just blows warm air. The main advantage of this hotel is its location, which is convenient for exploring the area. However, considering the condition of the accommodations, I personally did not find it to offer good value for the price paid. I would encourage prospective guests to carefully consider other options, and I hope the management invests more attention in maintenance and housekeeping, as the property has the potential to provide a much better guest experience.

My room was spacious. However, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows are horrible. I woke up with severe pain in my right shoulder and neck due to the pillow not giving support. Went to an urgent care and rhey gave me a pinched nerve diagnosis. The WiFi there is the worst I have ever experienced. My room was also street facing. There are several nighclubs across the street so the street noise was loud and I had to use ear plugs. Lastly, no housekeeping. Inwas jnformed I have to order it. Inwas not informed of this during check in. Would not recommend.

Convenience, from the Central Station you take Train #5 two short stops and then hotel a 3 minute walk, and a great supermarket . Once in the hotel , very stylish. They give you bottles of water for the room,still or with bubbles. The one disappointment, which happens frequently, is that they have next door another property with a gym/spa and as seein in the photo of the entrance where the word HOTEL is, thats a doorway you don;t use but its likely a home for the homeless or just where they go and urinate. They are unable to do anything about this, and they don;t think to wash the area daily.

This is not a 4-star hotel.

This is not a 4-star hotel - maybe 3 om a good day. Hotel is old but kept in fair condition. The service was questionable, and the breakfast is at best 2 stars. You can do a lot better than this for the price!

Unsafe. Was assaulted right outside of the hotel, right before walking into the hotel entrance. The the front desk clerk refused to help and said it wasn’t his problem, so police was called. I was injured with visible blood on me and staff receptionist just said I can go back into my hotel room to clean up and said they won’t be doing anything about the incident. I gave police my information and from my understanding a police report was filed. Furthermore, this hotel lacks basic security like anyone can walk inside the hotel, access the elevator, and get right up to the guest rooms. The area around the hotel is full of broken glass.

We chose this hotel be wise it was listed as pet friendly and with parking. Upon arrival we are told there is no parking and instructed to use a public parking one block away. The rooms are clean but shabby and in need of an update, lacking any kind of amenities apart from a bed, tv and bathroom. The next morning we are greeted by a female member of staff telling us we cannot bring our dog to the breakfast room. We ask her for a solution and after a while she agrees to us having breakfast in the bar next to the reception desk. Feeling quite disappointed in the situation, we raised the matter with the lady behind the reception desk. The lady proceeded to tell us the hotel “allows pets” but is not pet friendly, she also added we were not staying in a pet friendly room- not sure why. All in all the staff seemed pretty u professional and lacking in basic hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There are multiple stairs before you get to the lobby. If you have a lot of luggage it is very difficult to get your luggage up. The staff member at reception who was doing nothing saw me struggling and didn’t even offer to help. He was also quite rude. And even though two of us had checked in, there was only one towel for the two of us in the bathroom. Besides that the only available parking is across a very busy street and that is not listed when you’re looking the property up. The parking situation is terrible.
