Perfect Retreat

This house is perfection. It is a comfortable location to relax, spend time together as a family and explore Cuyahoga National Park. The egg laying chickens were the highlight of the property for my city kids. This property is so lovely.

Fantastic stay

This home is lovely, extremely well cared for, and beautifully appointed. The host ensured all was well early in our stay, which we appreciated. The location is fantastic for a visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and there are many services close by, as well as excellent restaurants. The property itself is serene, pastoral, and up off the road for privacy and countryside views. The on-site chickens were a delight to observe and easy to collect delicious, fresh eggs from, but the hosts ensure visitors have no obligation for their care and feeding. For us, it was a bonus!

Top Notch Vacation Rental

A fantastic experience here. This property has been renovated very, very well and it is a comfortable and fun place to stay. Our 8 y/o daughter loved sleeping in the loft area, and the 2 bedrooms were perfect. The kitchen and bathrooms, living area and yard are all fantastic. The chickens and fresh eggs are a fun addition - we enjoyed fresh eggs two mornings. The location is amazing - right on the bike path and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park land. Brandywine Falls was a 5 minute bike ride. Lambs loop and east rim mountain bike trails are legit. Restaurants in Hudson and around are really good and the towns in the area have a lot of charm. We will certainly be back!

Even better than the pictures

We had a long stay, ten days or so. The house is a beautiful French country style with nature views and a cozy yet luxurious feel. Dishes and pans were quality, everything needed was in the kitchen. Spacious fridge and a waterfall only a 15 minute walk away. A little reading nook was a sweet touch upstairs. Big bedrooms and big bathrooms too. So much natural light. Fresh eggs available, water in the fridge complimentary, great communication from the host. Such a special house! We highly recommend

Fabulous!

The house was perfection. Every convenience you need is right there, from shampoo and conditioner to a wide selection of games and puzzles for rainy days. The finishes are all high-end and tastefully done. As for cleanliness...I have rented many places, and I've never seen a place so spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere! The long views across the fields with views of sunrises and sunsets through the numerous large windows completed the feeling of peaceful luxury.The location was great as well. You can easily walk to the paved Summit Metro Parks’ Bike & Hike Trail from the house and explore Brandywine Falls. From there, you can use connector trails, either paved or dirt for a full day of adventure. The house is a short drive the National Park visitor center as well as many quaint towns to explore. Overall, I'd highly recommend!
