Friendly customer service. Warm greeting. Quick response.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Mike at the front desk went above and beyond for our stay and concerns.

Booked 3rooms and 1 room smelled very bad. Moved to bedroom with only 1 bed as didn’t have any more 2 beds.

Great hotel, reasonably priced. $50 dog fee is new since our last stay and we reserved a king bed room and only got a queen.

The hotel was very clean and my family enjoyed the pool

We found this suite to be extremely nice. There were 4 adults and 2 children during our stay here. Plenty of room with all the comforts of home. Breakfast was FANTASTIC.

We flew into Akron for my godson's christening. My husband and two teenage daughters found this hotel to be very comfortable and clean and convenient. Enough space and bathrooms for all of us, good beds.

The Good. Free hot breakfast every morning and dinners with drinks (Beer & Wine $1) every Monday-Wednesday. The pool is nice as well as the hot tub. The 1 br suites are truly one bedroom, which is nice with kids. The bad. Service has gone down consistently every year. We stay here every Thanksgiving and each year the rooms take longer to clean and when done are not done well. They say it's due to "light cleaning" during stays several days or longer, but just seems like the staff is very understaffed. The beds are not very comfortable. The last stay was poor. By my mistake I reserved a smoking room (didn't even realize these rooms still existed). It was almost unbearable walking into the room. And due to the high season weekend, we were unable to switch rooms. The garbage disposal did not work and the sink was clogged so you couldn't even use the kitchen sink. Requesting anything takes forever (towels, blankets, etc), which indicates they are understaffed. The light cleaning was truly "light." Beds were half made (or not at all) and several of the days they didn't even replace the shampoo bottles (we ended up just buying our own). We had children on the pullout couch, and the staff didn't even touch the pullout beds for making/cleaning. May sound picky, but when you spend close to $200 a night on a room, certain amenities should just be expected. There are no ice machines, so you have to go to reception to get ice. But most of the time the front desk is busy running errands so you may have to wait 5-10 minutes for them to come back. The staff though in general is friendly. Overall it's one of those hotels that b/c of the size of the rooms and the layout, it's attractive. I wish there were more options in the area though b/c if there were we most likely would not stay here.

Our experience was OK. Hard to put into words because it was a last minute reservation due to a funeral we had to come into town for. The staff was accommodating and the hotel was nice but we were barely there other than to change clothes, shower, and sleep.

The hotel itself was clean and in good condition. The down side was the ho hum offerings for the breakfast in the gathering room. It was mostly the same thing every morning with only a variety of different hot options that changed every day. But it was convenient to Hwy 8 to get back and forth to Cleveland where we went a few times during the week.

The whole place was thoughtfully arranged and planned. Someone really thought about what would be helpful to the people who will be staying here. Clean, up-to-date, offering of breakfast and dinner (dinner, TWTH) -- all very good!

The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The first room we were reserved smelled like smoke, and the girl at the desk was very happy to switch our room. The rooms are also well stocked with silverware and medium-sized fridge, among other things! Very well worth the price!! Also very close to Akron and a very short distance to great restaurants.

We loved our stay at the hotel! The staff was amazing and very professional. The 24 hour pool and spa was an added bonus. Breakfast was great and they have a waffle maker and fresh fruit.

Other than getting a smoking room when I requested a non-smoking room, the stay was fine. Pretty much on par with other hotels of this level. The suite was nice, although the cups in the kitchenette were rather dusty. The fitness center was satisfactory, though I didn't get a chance to try the pool. I would stay here again if traveling to the area.

Great two bedroom suite. Kids loved the pool.

The suite was wonderful ! The kitchen has everything you need. We really enjoyed the separate bedrooms. Each room had their own TV taking the squabble out of TV watching All this being said, if you are wanting a smoke free room like we did, the vent system was awful, as the cigarette smoke from the rooms above us came through the vents in the bathroom, and then filtered throughout the rooms. The noise factor from the upper floor was equally as bad. Loved the layout, but not sure if we would stay there again due to the above

I have had the pleasure of staying at Staybridge on several occasions in the past few months. I have also stayed at Hampton Inn and Courtyard... This is by far the best Hotel in the area. Rooms are immaculate, Front Desk staff is attentive and friendly, Ammenities are perfect. This is the elite place to stay in Akron/Stow.

Let me begin by saying I am hard to please when it comes to hotels/resorts. I always read over all reviews and thoroughly research hotels before I commit to forking over our hard earned cash. I'll admit that I was a little leary booking this hotel since at the time there was only one review and it was rather vague. I want my biggest bang for the buck and I deffinately got that with this hotel. It was extremely clean, and quiet. Not like other hotels where you can hear the conversations of others through the walls. All pictures on their website were accurate. You could even almost go so far as to say that they don't quite do it justice as to what the feel of the place really is due to the lighting in the pictures. The staff was curtious and aiming to please. My only complaint if you can really call it that is that there was a confusion when we checked in concerning the room type. We had reserved a non-smoking king suite. We were given a non-smoking queen handicapped accessible suite. All was corrected and we were promptly moved to our king suite once I called the front desk. Both rooms were exquisite though. The both suites were basically the same with the handicap accessible one being slightly larger. There is a full kitchen minus the oven, living room consists of a couch, chair and flat panel tv, and the master suite consists of the norm.....a bed, end tables, dresser, flat panel tv, closet and bathroom. In the regular suites; the bathroom is separated. The vanity and sink are in a hallway like area and the shower and toilet are in a separate room. In the handicap accessible bathroom the vanity and sink are in one big room with the shower and toilet. All rooms have the granite counter tops, which I think is a major plus when it comes to the look and feel of a higher end hotel. There is a continental breakfast served every morning from 6:30-9:30. Very good breakfast considering it's a continental breakfast. There are all kinds of drinks, fresh fruit, begals and toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt, omlets, hashbrowns.....really just about anything you can think of. The only complaint here is that I wish they would serve it for another hour for us late morning sleepers. Things to do there: Blossom music center is 3.5 miles away and is a straight shot from the hotel. Many great concerts there. We attended the Toby Keith concert on June 20, 2010. The hotel is located right off highway 8. There are quite a few restaurants surrounding the hotel including TGI Fridays and Texas Road House on the other side of the overpass. Cuyahoga Valley National Park off of 303 has a scenic railway that you can ride along the Cuyahoga River, many paved bike trails through wooded areas along with many waterfalls. We stopped in the Peninsula Depot Visitor Center where we spoke with a park ranger. He was very informative and supplied us with a map of the park along with an excursion guide for the railway. This visitor center is located in a quaint little town with mom and pop owned shops and antique shops. This is all located just about 5 minutes away. We only stayed one night, and came for the concert, but there are many things to see and do if you enjoy nature. We definately plan on returning soon and bringing our child with us next time to enjoy all that the park has to offer.
