The room was clean, and the fixtures had been updated. But when I got there, they actually didn’t have the room that I reserved and paid for, so they charged me extra for a room that they did have. They gave me the key and I went to the room. The key worked, but a couple and their dogs were living there already. Super awkward. Luckily, everybody kept their temper, and I got a different room, still at the raised price.

It felt more like a flop house than motel. Yes it’s clean inside though I certainly wouldn’t take a bath in the tub. Staff was fine - neither rude nor pleasant. Air condition controls completely broken. No hair dryer and no shampoo etc. It was good and cheap but you get what you pay for.
