Breakfast consisted mostly of pastries. With that said though they had a variety, it changed each day, they were good and at least some were homemade. Some days there were both savory and sweet. Appreciate the days that there was a choice. The property was newer it seemed and was nice.

We selected Taawaki Inn to be near Sedona, without being “in” Sedona. We travelled with our German Shepherd, so it was nice they allowed dogs for a reasonable price. We were 20-30 minutes from Cathedral Rock or Bell Tower, easy peasy. What was a surprise is the cute old town area of Cottonwood, the charming historic clarkdale and driving up to the old mining town of Jerome. Also a pleasant surprise was Tuzigoot National Monument, visible from the Hotel. The breakfast was very nice with delixious pastries baked on site, Hopi Stew (bean soup), egg bites, and fresh fruits. The room was very large and spotless. A bit stark with the solid surface flooring, but tall ceilings, large TV, and nice bathroom (with plush robes). The back patio had 2 fire pits overlooking

This was a newer hotel. Beautiful inside. Rooms were clean and nice. We arrived at 5:15 and room wasn’t ready so waited approx 15-20 min even though check in was at 4 pm. Breakfast had good muffins and coffee. One item looked like beans ? We weren’t quite sure what it was so didn’t try it. We went to breakfast around 7:30 and they had run out of quite a few of what was offered. When they brought out more egg bites and bacon there was only 8-10 pieces for a full breakfast room and it was cold. We took one bite and decided to go get breakfast somewhere else.

The staff was very courteous. The issue was having to wait 2 hours after check in for our room to be ready and the next day it didn’t get serviced at all despite our leaving the service room hang tag out. Otherwise, the hotel was beautiful.

Friendly staff that was knowledgeable about the area. Modern, clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet. Not much to do on property, no pools or dining, limited walking areas. Fire pits outside and peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was baked goods that were ‘home made” but rather dry and not any better than packaged breakfast foods, some fruit, yogurt on request.

The hotel was very nice! Very clean and new. We had to leave early and drive all night home because of unruly guests in the room above us (sounded like an aerobics class going on). I will see if we get a refund for the night for which we prepaid.
