Simple and cozy

Mark was a great communicator. The place was very clean and cozy. The location was great and in a cute neighborhood. the free parking space around back was perfect for unloading and getting into the property. 10/10 would stay again

Clean and Comfortable

A good place, clean and reasonably priced for its proximity to the city. It's not exceptional, for me that would be Turkish cotton towels, and real hardwood floor, etc. Rather, it's thin cotton towels, but oeko certified (which i appreciate). The sheets aren't cotton. The blankets were thin (polyester fleece), and when we pulled out the weightier extra one from the closet, it did smell like sweat... but I washed it the next day in the basement laundry facilities, which are clean and with all-natural detergent, another plus!! I do wish, though, that the blanket had been washed before we arrived.The bedrooms have a desk, ample closet space, and comfortable beds. The living room is bright and comfortable, the kitchen offers all you need for cooking, the bathroom mirror is super cool with a built-in light and desteamer.There were black ants in the kitchen, which I expect has been taken care of.The neighborhood seems to have a working-class, lived in feel, not picturesque, but perfectly fine. Parking spot is super convenient.I dislike how there is pressure on this site to give properties 10/10 in order to secure a favorable review in kind. This is an honest review.All in all: Good. Not Exceptional.

It's a short walk to the yellow line L station and Dempster pulse station. We loved the delis close by- fresh bagels! The space itself was bright and airy and the listing accurate.

Graduation trip for grandson

My grandson wanted to see the city where his grandma grew up, Skokie! And Chicago, of course. This place gave us the privacy of each having our own bedroom plus incredible location close to Skokie Swift (ie the Yellow Line), Old Orchard and Edens Expressway. The unit was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Perfect distance for downtown and suburbs.

We used to live in Chicago for a number of years before moving out of state. Since many of our friends and family have also moved away, finding an affordable place to stay where parking and neighborhood isn’t a concern can be challenging. This property worked perfectly for us as we knew we’d want to go downtown and out to the suburbs. The parking spot and free laundry are an added bonus. The unit isn’t just clean, it’s immaculate, modern, and comfortable. The host provides many extras that I don’t often find in other properties. We don’t know when our next visit will be but this will be the first place I look up when we need a place to stay. The owner is very prompt with responses too.

Great little place near Chicago!

The description is true and the photos match the listing! The place was amazing!! My little sister and I stayed here and she was so amazed. She says I usually find us sketchy places to stay at when we are traveling, but she just loved this place! The apartment was VERY clean (thank you for having the no shoes inside rule)! The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the things you would need to cook (we didn't, but I'm glad you had a kettle to make tea)! There is even a Brita for filtered water and a Kerig for coffee - and there were pods and tea bags as well!! Mark has a wonderful property and we are planning to stay here in the future if we visit again. The location is very nice and quiet. Not too far from the mall (30 -45 mins w/o toll drive ), H Mart/King Spa (10 mins drive), SUPER close to Northwestern U (13-15 minutes drive) and super close to a Target (like two blocks down)! Parking space was very nice to have, as the street was mostly full most of the time. Thank you for keep such an amazing property. As two young female, we felt pretty safe in this neighborhood and property.

Family Road Trip

Property description was spot on. Sponsor was very helpful with communication not only about the property but any questions we had about activities to do in Chicago. We loved the location as it was close to the "L" train or bus line. This is a great way to get around the city. Apartment was cleaned when we arrived and had all the amenities you need. Thanks to the sponsor for a wonderful place to stay and if we are ever back this way, we would certainly stay here again. Highly recommended.
