The hotel is European style. Therefore, they didnt have fridge, kettle nor coffee machine in the room. There is a community room where everybody shares one tiny fridge which doesnt have much space in it. Even though the location is great, the condition of the hotel does not match with the pricing.

Great location, super walkable to city center spots. Our room at the end of the 4th floor was quiet despite a nearby bar and café. Spacious, clean bathroom, no TV or appliances but we knew that when booking. Nice lounge on the 2nd floor to heat food and watch TV. Friendly staff. Only downside — likely bed bugs, which gave us itchy bites.

Pros: The hotel is brand new and a beautiful place in a great area easy to get around and about 10-15min walk from the water. It's attached to a food place (we didn't eat there) that looked good, albeit a bit expensive. Front desk staff were very friendly Cons: the people at the front desk didn't seem to know the area all that well and struggled a bit with telling us where to go and what to do, the room has no TV, no dresser, no fridge, no microwave, no coffee. Although this was in the description, I honestly didn't notice it so it was a surprise when we got there (it's a HUGE room and very empty seeming). It didn't matter to us for one night but might matter to others. Also, they have live music in the restaurant area that is POUNDING. We were on the third floor on a weeknight so it ended at 10pm. Be aware that it can go til 2am on weekends and you can definitely feel/hear it a few floors up.

This is not a bad review of the property itself. It’s just a review of what you get at this type of hotel. It’s definitely a European style hotel which means no amenities, there is no TV in the room. There’s no hairdryer (although you can request one) and the area itself is not that great. The first night we arrived there was definitely some questionable characters walking around outside but the hotel itself was very safe and very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no on-site parking, but there is a parking garage about a block away and it’s only about $8.75 to park for 24 hours. The beds were quite comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. The frosted glass on the shower is a little bit see-through so if you are travelling with a friend, beware. There are no locks on the bathroom door just a sliding frosted glass door. no bathroom fans either. There’s definitely a lot of restaurants and bars around the area and it was a great vibe for myself my husband and our two adult children.

Great hotel in Charlottetown downtown. The hotel is said to be "european" style with limited services in the room, but does a great job for a night at fair price. It is very clean and comfortable, the only downside was a very loud ventilation noise in the room (much louder than any other hotel), earplugs are definitely a must. But no noise from the concert, though it might be rather calm on a Monday.

Bed was comfy. Bathroom looked good, did not function well. Open shower component made the full bathroom floor wet. Recommendation, install a shower door.
