Personally I think this hotel is "over-sold". It's expensive, which is fine but the value for your money is lacking. Parking is out behind the hotel, if you can find a spot because it's also a public lot. The main floor of the hotel is very noisy. The day we checked in there was a function in the main ballroom which spilled out into the main lobby which made it very difficult to check in. The rooms are nice but very small and very noisy. You can hear every noise from the hallway. We happened to get stuck with a room right beside the elevator and all night all we heard was the groan of the elevator machinery. To sum up, I would not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.

Lovely, beautiful building. Staff were top notch, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent and was nice having outdoor seating with a fire place. Kids enjoyed the pool. Location is great for walking downtown Charlottetown. Room was clean and comfortable but our air conditioning wasnt working and our room was very warm and stuffy and the smell of cigarette smoke was not nice. Which made our stay less pleasant.

The common areas are really nice, the staff super friendly and the location is excellent, BUT unless you are staying in a renovated room I would pass on this hotel. The room we stayed in smelled strongly of old stale cigarette smoke, and so did the hall leading to the room. The walls are super thin too so we could hear our neighbour’s activities and the elevator mechanics. The bathroom was very clean because it was renovated. If you do stay here be sure to go to the rooftop it has amazing views of Charlottetown.
