Only stayed 1 night, but staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was well taken care of, room was clean and provided us with everything we needed. Loved the lounge and kitchenette available for use. Centrally located.

Seems like they're trying too hard to be 'unique'. Nice enough rooms, very small, and all amenities are in a common room, which was actually handy for our group to be able to hang out together. The area has some seedy elements, but not scary.

Best value in the city for accommodations. In the heart of downtown, close to great shopping and dining. More affordable than conventional hotels further uptown. The lack of TV, microwave, fridge, etc. wasn't a bother for us, especially at this price point.

The hotel claims it has minimal design. Travelling in North America, this is quite a surprise. Shower does not have a door or curtain. Bed room only has a bed, a small table and a chair. It feels like staying in a step-up dorm.

Stayed at the Arts Hotel many times. This time was not the best. The pillows were awful and the music from the club next door is hard to sleep through!

Central location was excellent for walking. Front employees were kind and knowledgeable. Rooms, although extremely quait, were clean, organized and the art work was stunning! Second floor had all the amenities one would need. Great value, great price, great experience. Would definitely stay again.

No tv's or coffee makers in the room and no parking on site. If your looking for just a clean bed and none of the usual amenities, it's fine. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than it's a convenient location.

Very enjoyable night in Charlottetown at The Arts hotel. Rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. My only issue is that I wish the room was a foot wider so I didn’t need to squeeze between the bed and the wall.

I stayed here for the first time and it was everything we needed. It was clean, with a nice shower and comfortable bedding. Perfect walking distance from all of downtown Charlottetown's attractions. Also had an overnight parking option right beside the hotel for reasonable rate. I would return here.

A Cut Above Tenting

If you like a bear bones hotel thus is for you. The rooms had no phones, clock, microwave, mini frodge, dresser, or closet. Sleeping was fair simce they allowed dogs and thwy barked at vsriius times durong the night. Also, i quess from a bar next door the music rocked our room until after 10 PM. The bed was a king and comfortable.

I was nervous to stay at this hotel since it was my first zero star hotel experience. The room was small (just enough room at the end of the bed to barely walk past). The bathroom was also very tight. It had a frosted wall enclosure and sliding door, which made for little privacy. The most inconvenient part was the hotel not having parking. There was a public parking garage a 1 minute walk away that cost $8.75/day (no in and out privileges). There is also free street parking between 6pm and 8am. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, so at the end of the day our stay was good enough for a couple nights.
