3 senior ladies in a construction zone.

When we arrived they told us we were getting a newly renovated room. When we entered the room we soon realized that she meant it was just painted that day and the room wasn’t even cleaned from the dust of sanding it before they painted. The fumes were very strong it took my breath away. I’m asthmatic. I called the front desk and she gave us another room. It was better but still had the smell of paint fumes. When we first got there we asked about the pool. She told us that it was open. When we went to go for a swim the pool had brown grime along the edges and there was things floating on the top of the water. The water had a terrible smell as well. The whole building was a construction zone. There was no mention of this on the web site. It was very not such and the tv in the next room was very loud. Late at night around 2am there was a lot of noise from people partying. Not at good stay at all.

There was a group of hound adults on my floor (room 167) screaming and partying until 5 am and nothing was done. A mom in one of the adjacent rooms asked them to keep it down at 2:30 because she had kids sleeping, and around 5 I heard a man yelling at them to be quiet but otherwise nothing was done, and that was my entire night stay, just loud partying yelling people. I mentioned it the next morning to the front desk but was just told it was st Patrick’s weekend so people were going to be loud. Really upset.

The staff was amazing. When we were leaving we were already checked out for about an hour and realized that our son didnt have his favorite crash car so we went back and the staf at the desk was very nice and had someone go chech the room. It was under the bed. I will definitely be booking there for our next trip up.

Place was under renovations, but nothing seemed to be happening when we were there during the week. A bit run-down, dirty, and ill-equiped for breakfast in a cold room.

Although they are in the middle of renovations they still where friendly and efficient. We had a leak in our room and buddy came right down and moved us to another room at 11 pm lol. The pool was nice and warm it was perfect. My daughter moved to PEI and this is where we will always stay when we come over. I have a room booked for March 14th I can't wait to come and relax

Random trip

The staff was friendly however the hotel was under renovations that did not seem safe to leave around. Electrical boxes hanging out of the wall, one night the one area had no lights, etc. The breakfast is yogurt, cereal and waffles The pool was okay but looks nothing like the pictures. It was more like a motel then a hotel. Okay for a night or two but I wouldn't do a long term stays there

When entering the hotel the check in area was nice but as you walk to the hallway to the rooms it is very noticeable they are renovating , it would have been nice to have known this when booking . There drywall mud splatter on the old worn down carpet. The room was very dated , the doors to the room and bathroom ratty looking . The bathroom , the shower area was art of the whole bathroom so after showering walking across the tiles was very slurry and dangerous . A accident just waiting to happen. The bed was so old and you couldn’t help but to lean into the center of the bed . Friday night we didn’t sleep there were teenager yelling and banging on doors till 12:30-12:45 , not impressed at all. The breakfast well let’s just say very bad . let’s just say the food was stale. Do not recommend this place till it is completely renovated .

I understand they are undergoing renovations but it seems that everywhere you look, things are torn apart, held together by tuck tape and just generally unkept. Not to mention salt stains on our room floor from a previous guest/staff member. The floors feel like they haven’t been cleaned for weeks and there a hairs in the bed.

Mixed review

We went here for my girlfriend’s birthday, since we love PEI and don’t get to go super often. The room was very sweet, clean and organized. The bed was comfy, so was the couch and little chairs by the windows in the living room. The power did randomly go out around 11pm, and no information was given. I could hear people upset in the hallway, trying to figure out what happened. Went to ask what happened, they claimed it was the whole city but the buildings both across the street and beside had their lights on, also claimed it was scheduled? If it was scheduled, why was there no word of it during check in? The power was out for approximately 2-3 hours. So we decided to go to bed early, what else was there to do? In the morning, went for breakfast; there was muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea and juice being served. The bagels were super dry, and the juice we had was very water downed to the point there was a colour difference in the cup and flavour. Afterwards, asked about the power situation again, was told I could talk with the manager after to see what could be done. Re-explained what happened to him. Just to be told it was the whole city (when I know it was not) and that we got a crazy good deal and that the same room we had would’ve easily been $400 dollars anywheres else. Not sure how that was a helpful comment, but there was nothing other than an apology for the inconvenience.
