The home worked out so well for us. The split level allowed one generation to sleep upstairs and another downstairs. The house was clean and conveniently located for our stay. When we called with a question, the host answered immediately and resolved the issue. We would consider staying here again.

Overall this property is just ok. Pros: VERY responsive host or management company. We had a few immediate issues and received communication literally a few minutes after sent email. Great water pressure and temps. Good proximity to much of Charlotte. Good layout in the house. Large backyard for dogs, however one corner of the fence is low. This might be why they do not advertise a fenced backyard. We had no issues.Cons: Older home - needs attention. Pictures/ description not as advertised. Very busy street, difficult to get out- constant traffic noise. Front turnaround has broken cement (from tree roots), difficult maneuver to turn cars around. Startled to see yard crew showed up one day-no notice. Followed by tree trimming crew. If we had been informed, we would have removed dog and toddler cuz of 2 hours of equipment noise. No body wash at all. Non-stick pans scarred-need replacing. Our most important issue is that there was an attempted break-in in the middle of the day. The security bar on the sliding door prevented the burglary. The only response to my report was "we can understand your concern - this has never happened before." I certainly expected someone to take a bit more interest in that situation. This property was one of the lesser expensive and now we know why. "You get what you pay for."

Great location. Comfortable rooms. My family gathered there over Christmas holiday and we enjoyed our stay. The layout of the home was good and had multiple areas for us to catch up with one another. The host was attentive and had great communication. Overall it was a good stay.

The property wash nice its a little out dated but it was very nice. There are a few pros and cons but I like the location of the property. The Pros are that the rooms was really big and spacey. The property was in a great neighborhood very quite. The property was really clean thumbs up to the cleaning crew. The Cons that i dislike was there wasnt a Television in all the bed rooms and that was a huge inconvenience for me especially with kids. The bathroom setup is a little weird but we made it work. So the experience was disappointing for my kids cause of the televisions issue cause the had to share a TV and they all like looking at different things so that didnt work for me. Would i recommend to my friends yes if they dont have more than One child. Would i stay again No because of that issue with the TV's but if the owner would fix that problem i would stay there everytime i come to the area. And i normally go to the Charlotte area at least 6 times a year. But to the owner you have a amazing property and a amazing cleaning crew cause the house was very clean when we arrived but it was just the Television for me. And thanks for your hospitality and he opportunity to experience your amazing property....

Relocation Stay

Stayed for a couple of months. Great location for South Park and house hunting. Not far from the mall and close to Quail Hollow (about a 25 minute walk).On a busy street so need to use the drive turn around.Host responded immediately for any issues.

Great location

Nice roomy house in a great location in south charlotte area. House is a little older, but was clean with nice amenities. Owner communication and responsiveness was fantastic throughout the process. We would stay here again on future visits.

Not our best VRBO stay but it was ok

This property is an older home so be prepared for a lot of creaking and groaning. We did have some issues while there and the owner did take care of them quickly. Cons: It is on a VERY busy street. The toiletries provided are very little bottles so be prepared and bring your own. Also, you are only provided one towel/washcloth each and they don't dry well in the bathrooms, so be prepared to wash them more often. The TVs were not working properly when we were there but the owner told us after we left they would be taking care of that. There were no curtains on the bedroom windows(only blinds) to keep the traffic noise and light out. The owner said they might take care of that after we left. Pros: The beds were comfortable The water pressure and temperature were good in the showers. There was a foosball table and games for kids to play.

The house was as described and still had some of the original charm with updates. Everything that was needed for our stay was available and communication thru VRBO was on time, friendly and helpful. The house is located on a busy road, and there is a small turn around area on the property that helps limit the times someone has to back out of the driveway. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We came in for a girls weekend and highly recommend.
