Just returned from a stay at this hotel the hotel is in an old building that also houses a hostel! When you enter the building from the main road you are in a dark smelly lobby that's full of wheelie bins when you approach the 2nd door to the main building that's when the sensor light comes. It's quite daunting especially if you arrive at night. The youngsters in the hostel are noisy and are in and out the building continously which can be intimidating especially when 6/7 of them try to get in the lift with you. Once you are inside, the building and the lift are dirty there's cobwebs in the lift and on the door frames and you can see the building is not well maintained. This is definitely not what we expected and we were very disappointed. I did complain but was told they are only responsible for the floor the hotel occupies!
The hotel is on the 3rd floor, hostel is on 1st & 2nd floors. No receptionist when I arrived and I didn't receive any check in information before getting there. The non English speaking cleaners gave me a number to call and we managed to sort everything out. No contact details in the reception area for any problems and the receptionist does not work on Friday's and no one replaces him. Overall the room was clean and looked like the photos. Its in a perfect location plenty of shops and places to eat, tram and metro are nearby so its easy to get around.
