The young people at the reception - very engaged and very friendly Especially the young lady and the young apprentices with the Glasses. Such a great English. Highly recommend to keep such employee in the Company. The service Lady was very flexible - Room Service and Food great. We have ordered almost all dishes and we are very satisfied. The pool is a bit cold for people not doing sport. But it is mainly used by Gym Athletes, therefore it is alright. We had a great time - thanks a lot
So i was in Budapest and few of my friends just arrive, so i find this hotel for very goof price, and it was 4 of us. With price u get also internet and spa. Room's was clean and we was happy with service. Kosznom!
Close to the metro and clean rooms. The room is overheated and no possibility to easily adjust the temperature. The wifi does not work. The Spa is not accessible during "tourist" hours - you have to choose between visiting the city and going to the spa (7-8h to 19-20h becomes 10-18h and you are put out at 17:30). The beautiful restaurant is only accessible to "groups" and not to families, we are redirected to a coffee corner. The food is so average that pasta salmon didn't stay in the stomach! The service at the coffee corner is average and you are served bread that has not been cut freshly and in a dirty towel. Room service is average, room for 3 but supplies for 2, tea bags and shampoo bottles are not replaced. The beds are not properly trained - the cover is balled on the floor.
I had the inconvenience of getting to the hotel and found that my reservation was there but the room did not. the explanation was that those from the booking are to blame. after contacting another hotel to transfer us. Finally we found a room and could be accommodated in the hotel that made the reservation. I was very disappointed.
Would have loved to stay more. It is exceptional if you come for a concert at Pap Laszlo Arena. Rooms were very nice, especially those at 7th floor (we were a group of 8). It is a bit far from the center, but we came by car so that wasn't a problem.
I was satisfied with the experience while staying at your hotel. I enjoyed my clean room as well as service. Breakfast was good, I had many options. The only problem was that in the room 508 (where i stayed) shower was not working properly.
The most bothered aspect was that I asked them a day before our departure, while the booking could have been canceled, if the pool will be functional during our stay, aspect that was confirmed in the e-mail. We had arrived at the hotel, at the check-in they told me all the information about the pool, opening hours etc ... I have required the bathrobes to be send in our room, they are free of charge, but given on request, they send them in half an hour ... we went down at the pool and SURPRISE ... the lady there tells me that the pool is not properly functioning and it will be the same in the next few days (during all our stay). What angered me even more is the fact that both lady and the one that takes care of the fitness room told us that they have been telling at the reception for a long time that the pool is not functional, but they still send bathrobes to customers and tell them that it works. If I would have known, I would have booked something cheaper and I would have gone at their famous baths in the center. The room was very cold thanks to the radiator which was extremely small and besides this in the bathroom there is none. With all the extra blankets from the closet, it was very cold at night. The room has carpet all over the surface, which is super dirty, dusty and moldy. The air was very stifling, very hard to breath. I mention that it was not a room for smokers, because neither we are.It is said that they clean up the room every day, but the only thing the ladies do is throwing the garbage. There is a water filter available, but they do not refill the coffee envelopes if they are used on the first day of the stay, as well as they do not refill the minibar. One day I left the card for the electric power because we left some food in the minibar. The card had been taken by the room-maid. When I explained at the reception the situation and asked for the card, all they have said it was SORRY.
During our stay we experienced several hiccups such as the delayed loundry service, the fire alarm on at 1.30am or the wine gone bad in the fridge in the room. The problems as they were were not a disaster though the communication around it was either poor or was completely missing. We experienced a serious lack of interest.
Swimming pool was not working, spa was not allowed. Staff at the counter are really rude and careless They dont care what are you asking..I would recommend not to book this hotel if your are a international traveller as the hotel doesn’t understand customer facing roles
Stayed here recently for 2 nights. It's a very nice hotel and the staff are excellent. The twin room I stayed in was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. I was on the 8th (top?) floor with view towards the city centre in the distance. There was a little disturbance in that in high winds there was some rattling sound just outside on the rooftop. Breakfast was quite plain though and was clearly for continental European tastes. The gymnasium was one of the largest and best equipped of any hotel I've stayed at. A short distance by bus or metro to the city centre made it an excellent location however there didn't seem to be many places of interest in the environs of the hotel. But for value for money, an excellent choice.
