As a regular guest at Mirage Medic Hotel, I’m disappointed to share this experience.
I’ve stayed many times and always found the hotel satisfactory, but during my latest booking I needed to move one of my two reserved nights to a later date in December.
I checked beforehand and confirmed the hotel had plenty of free rooms that night, so changing the date would not have caused any loss. In fact, my December stay would have added four more nights, and I also planned several future visits in 2026.
Despite explaining this at reception before checking in and stressing that I am a loyal guest, the staff refused to move the night. Even after contacting management, they insisted I send an email, which made little sense given the urgency and the fact that I came in person specifically to resolve it.
The refusal, despite no loss to the hotel and my long term loyalty, felt like a complete disregard for the mutual flexibility regular customers should reasonably expect.
As a result, I will no longer stay at Mirage Medic Hotel. My seven to eight upcoming Budapest trips the coming year will be booked elsewhere.
