The cabin was beautiful, everything was labelled and easy to find and understand. We had some hiccups in the beginning but our lovely host was quick to respond and help, I will absolutely look forward to coming back here again

Home was clean and came with all amenities needed. The hot tub worked well, heated up fairly quickly and the access to the river was an easy walk. Our only complaint was the smell from the septic systems. At times, it was so overwhelming we could not be outside. Otherwise, our stay was great!

---**4/5 Stars – Beautiful Cabin Away from the Hustle of Hochatown**We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! First off, the host was incredibly responsive — I had a *lot* of questions before and during our trip, and they were all answered quickly and thoroughly, which really gave us peace of mind.The cabin itself is beautiful on the inside — clean, cozy, and well-stocked. It does have neighbors on both sides, but we lucked out with great people next door. In fact, we all ended up sharing the easier river access from the neighboring properties, as the path directly behind our cabin is a bit narrow and steep. Definitely something to consider if you’re traveling with small kids or elderly guests.The river was a huge hit — high on our first day, but low enough the rest of the time for the kids to safely explore and play among the rocks and shallow water. It was such a joy seeing all the kids running around and enjoying nature.We really appreciated how the cabin is away from the heavy weekend traffic and crowds in Hochatown — but it’s still close enough to the lake, restaurants, and other attractions to be convenient.Overall, we loved our stay! We only rated it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the tricky river path, but everything else was fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again!---

Broken bow getaway

The propertie was really nice and we loved the location. It could use a few things like a dust pan, also there were zero dressers to store our clothes. In the closets there were no place to hang your hanging clothes. Just things like that could make a huge difference in the over all experience. But the propertie was clean and very enjoyable to stay in.

Nice with a few issues

Overall the house was nice and clean. We did have a few small issues. Pool table was broken the balls kept rolling off the table because of the bumpers on the side. Anytime some one walked up stairs it was extra loud. Hot tub cover was broken and small white foam was floating in the hot tub. Corn hole boards was broken. Chairs by the fire pit were broken as well. Kitchen area was really small and cramped for the amount of people we had. We had issues starting the fireplace not starting. We did enjoy our stay the river behind the house was nice for fishing.

Awesome location

Creek/river is seasonal. Was too shallow for water activities of any kind during our stay. Aug 2024.we did find plenty to do in the state park though which is a 20 minutes drive with out any traffic. Quite neighborhood.
