Lovely location and wonderful area to run/walk. Great neighborhood restaurant. House well appointed only downside was no washer/dryer, but, host said they are adding in the basement.

Adorable cape home and neighborhood, just a skip away from the water. Especially loved that each bedside had a multi-charger for electronics. Thank you for a lovely stay! Left a couple games behind for future guests too.

Relaxing Family Getaway in Black Rock, CT

We spent a great week here as a family of four and loved it. The place was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing together. The kids enjoyed movie nights and games in the cozy living area. It was in a perfect spot for day trips to Fairfield beaches, the Hartford Science Center, and the Beardsley Zoo. The host was easy to reach and really helpful, which made the stay even better. We felt right at home and had an awesome family vacation.

Gorgeous House

Beautifully appointed home, comfortable furnishings, and fantastic location. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space, as well as the nearby beach, restaurants and freeway access. Everything was in fine working order and our stay was enjoyable!

Great Stay in Black Rock

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. Everything was spotless when we arrived, very clean and well cared for. The decor was stylish yet comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. We loved the neighborhood being so quiet and walkable. We were able to walk to Harborview market for breakfast and lunch. We also loved the white noise machines in all of the bedrooms and the charging stations on all of the bedside tables. These little touches improved our stay. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

German cottage in a beautiful neighborhood

Soundside Festival

Came with our adult daughters so they could enjoy the Soundside festival. It was a lovely stay. Host was extremely responsive with communication and the house was so lovely. It was beautifully decorated and clean!

Clean, cozy, and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay! This is one of the cleanest properties that I have ever rented. The house is cozy and bright. The location was steps from a small beach area and a mile or so walk to a nice beach. We also were also to walk to a marina to charter a sail boat. Restaurants are an easy walk as well. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Awesome property

The house was lovely and comfortable and appeared newly renovated. The short walk to the water was a plus. However the stairs and back entry walkway were challenging for those with walking issues and the accessible shower was on the second floor. Also beware, although it is advertised as sleeping 6, there is an extra per person charge for more than 4 guests. Still it was a great property.

The Place to Stay in Black Rock

It was our first time staying in the Black Rock area, and we found the neighborhood to be absolutely charming. Our VRBO accommodations were ideal providing easy access to the Black Rock neighborhood and the towns of Fairfield, Southport, and Westport. We had a great visit!!

Wonderful home away from home

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home this past weekend with our family and it was an absolute delight. The home is spotless and has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The upstairs master bedroom and bath are exceptional with modern conveniences of heated floors and thoughtful sound machine. We will certainly be back again !!

Nice Weekend Getaway

The property is exactly as shown in pictures. Lots of usable space in the house. The house is completely updated inside with every technology convenience you could ask for. The main bathroom suite was amazing. Right down to heated tile floor. Two large screen smart tvs in the home add to the convenience. We had a relaxing, no issues weekend away.
