This is a warm and welcoming home on a lovely property next to the river. The host was wonderful to work with, and if you visit, we recommend having Tai come out and give massages. This was our second stay at the River House. Our adult age daughters joined us and loved the property and the Zen zone amenities. The outdoors are beautifully maintained by Kate and the house interior is updated, comfortable and brings a peace filled week beside the Blackfoot.

New favorite place to stay in Missoula! The house and grounds were perfect. Only minor negative is cell service can be choppy at times which seems to be common most places we have stayed when visiting Missoula.

Peace of Paradise.

Kate goes out of her way to make sure everything is just so, and the house is immaculate. The views are divine, the space and vibe is incredible. I hope to come back in the summer and just sit and watch the birds. Oh... and you HAVE to save time for the very Zenned out soak and sauna's. ( for an even more Zen experience read " the Dharma Bums, found in the library in the basement) -- This property has earned the care it gets and it's so lovely to see people having esteem and grace for the land itself. 24000 stars. -- the kind of place no one could ever complain about.

Missoula and The Blackfoot River

OMG!! Talk about a gorgeous view and piece of property! The house was so nice and cozy:) It was well equipped, very clean, and we loved the floor plan. I absolutely need to get pillows like the ones in the master bedroom😴 The house was a quick 15 minute drive to downtown. Kate was very kind and easy to talk too. We would positively stay here again when we return to Missoula.

Exceptional!

Stop searching and book this property. Everything about the house and property is exceptional. The short walk from the back of the house to the river made our fly fishing easy and productive. Beautiful stretch of the Blackfoot. Short drive to town but you feel as if you are out in the gorgeous MT Big Sky country because…you are. Kate is a gem of a host. This wonderful experience sets the bar high for our next fishing trip! Truly exceptional in every way.

Amazing property and host

Perfect house, down to earth host with great communication, just down the road from Missoula, fishing out the back door. What’s not to like. A week my friends and I will reminisce about for years. Can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed EVERYTHING about our recent stay. The house was lovely and furnished so comfortably. We enjoyed listening to the river and stargazing at night on the deck. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and Kate was the best host ever!

Best Home Ever!

We have traveled extensively over the last 10 years, staying at Vrbo’s. This was by far the most spectacular one yet. Home was outstanding, property perfect. U of M graduation weekend

This property is absolutely amazing. The best VRBO experience we’ve had to date. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation weekend from University of Montana. It was comfortable for all of us, including grandparents with mobility issues, stunning views, and Kate was absolutely an amazing host who made sure everything was perfect for our special weekend! You will not regret staying at this beautiful home from the sound of the river to the hummingbirds, beautiful trees, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, truly a home away from home and the fresh air will do anyone some good!!
