The proprietor appears to have tried to put in a lot of high-end finishes, but sloppily, AND at the expense of basic comfort and cleanliness. There was no toilet paper when we arrived, and we had to go hunting for it. The towels were not white, but grey, grubby and stained. The mattresses were stained. The couch was heavily stained. A bidet contraption attached to the toilet was filthy. Windows were very dirty. Every piece of cutlery needed to be washed before use, but when we finally found bowls and plates (at the end of our stay) they were too disgusting to use, even after washing. The outside of the unit was cluttered and dirty also.

Such a great place

We absolutely loved our stay. The location is so peaceful and far enough off the main roads that all you hear when sitting outside is the river across the street. But still close enough to hop in the car and head out for breakfast each morning just a few minutes down the road. The cabin was clean and everything was very nice inside. Perfect location for us with our dog with plenty of space to walk him without bothering anyone. We will definitely be back in the future.
