The hotel occupies the whole floor of a superb old building in the Schöneberg area. The staff welcomes you like you were friends. Rooms have high ceilings and are very quiet. I strongly recommend this hotel.

My new favorite hotel in Berlin, and I've stayed in a number of them over the years. Gorgeous rooms, accommodating staff and perfect location just a short walk from Wittenberg Platz. And the price is extremely reasonable for the quality.

Good stay. Would do it again.

Had the Marlene Dietrich room. Comfy solid mattress. A perfect tiny balcony. Safe was a little glitchy. The breakfast was well done. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved taking the stairs, or nice old elevator. Can be hard to find. Hotel just takes up part of a floor in a large building. My phone was very helpful! Loved neighborhood just in walking distance.

This place is gorgeous. It's not a hotel in the commercial way, so don't expect a cheap kettle and coffee sachets in your room. This hotel is based inside a gorgeous old historic building. The stay here was truly wonderful. The staff, especially the handsome breakfast server, were all very attentive and professional. I doubted whether my return taxi they booked for me at 4.30am would be there, but it certainly was! Who doesn't want a beautiful chandelier in their bedroom? Or an oversized mural of a Marlene Dietrich above their bed? The mattress was, thankfully, firm and the bedding was clean and new. The room has incredibly high walls, giving a real sense of grandeur. It had all I needed for my short stay. The built in en-suite had black slate tiles and was contemporary and finished to a high standard. Because the hotel is situated inside an old building, the heating was provided by a radiator - which more than heated the room in the -13°C temperatures of Berlin in winter. Breakfast is served from 7.30 into 12, and there's a huge selection of food to get your day started. Including personally cooked eggs by a rather dishy cook 😍 But possibly the best part was using the old wooden elevator to get to the 3rd floor. It made me feel like I was in a period piece drama from the 1890s. If I'm ever lucky enough to get to Berlin again, I would definitely stay here. It's a shame I was only staying for 3 nights. Please support independent owners of small gay businesses 👍

Great location. Uncomfortable bed. No room darkening curtains. Shower is too small. There's no room to turn and bend to wash lower areas. When you move you always hit the faucet and either get a cold or scalding surprise.

This hotel is on the third floor of an old building, full of character. It is in the centre of the gay district of Berlin. Our room was spacious warm clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again. It’s gay positioning had no impact on my wife and my enjoyment of the accomodation.

Happy with my stay

I'm absolutely happy about my stay here. The hotel is located in a very convenient neighborhood which offers you a lot of choices for buses and subways. And the room is really spacious with a great view of the street. And the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the check-in and check-out were super quick and easy. The only tiny little thing that bothered me was there were some ants in the room and climbed up on the bed on the first night as it is an old building. The rest things were nice and lovely!
