Local stay

We were having some work done on our home and stayed at Alex’s place in Benicia and it was great, very clean, updated and well laid out for a smaller space. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is walkable to a nearby playground and convenience store. All was great!

Excellent place!

Alex was a great host. He was proactive when he noticed the temp dropping in the house and wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. We liked the temp at 67 so we weren’t concerned but Alex reached out to me directly to make sure we were okay. Beautiful little space. Perfect for my husband and I. It was adorable, clean, had plenty of coffee and options for coffee. The neighbor helps with the trash and was also super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this VRBO, and truly, any VRBO that Alex has. Probably one of the best experiences I had with a host.

Did the job . . .

While this location did the job, I would not stay here again. We had a few issues with cleanliness in the bedding, and the lighting. It made it very difficult to get any good sleep. We did have excellent response time with the property owner, and he did offer to get this taken care of for us. We loved the backyard. It's a small home, and a very quiet neighborhood. It got the job done, but I would not stay here again.

Amazing, Wonderful, Gorgeous

I felt so at home here. The house was perfect and clean, the neighbors said hello in passing, and the town overall was absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait to come back next year!

Unbelievable 2 bedroom!

We’ve rented a number of Arbnb and VRBO properties throughout USA and Mexico, this was overall the most beautifully furnished and well stocked rental. We loved the openness of the space, comfy bed & bedding, sparkling white linens, nice bathroom entities, comprehensives of the kitchen, coffee bar details, and so much more. Everything about this rental was easy, parking, checking-in, & instructions for everything needed were simple. This was a Martinez family visit trip, location was convenient to where we needed to be. We visited during cold March days, so we appreciated the coziness of the home and important to me was the heater and hot water, yes, basics, but you can’t always count on basics. This place was superb in every way! I’m guessing summer is also great, there is a cute yard, with outdoor sitting area. Lastly, I’ll sum it up by saying, it’s a model that should be used for all vacation rentals!

Great place, great stay

Perfect cottage stay in the very nice historic Benicia Arsenal area. Quiet, pleasant, well equipped. Nice outdoor area to sit, and great walking opportunities right out the front door.

Bottlerock Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay over the Memorial Day Weekend. Perfect location not too far from the Bottlerock festival in Napa. The house was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. We explored the cute downtown of Benicia one morning. Thank you Alex for a great stay!

Perfect!!!

Stayed the weekend and the property was as advertised. If I had to make one suggestion, there would be a shower mat. I could not risk my elderly mother-in-law stepping into the tub/shower for fear of slipping. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Great long weekend getaway

My husband, adult daughter and I traveled from Boston so we could help celebrate our grandson’s first birthday. The house was nearby which was very convenient! The house was cozy for the three of us. It had everything that we needed to ensure a comfortable stay. Will definitely rent again!!

Nice Tiny House

The property was very clean & was recently updated. Very comfortable for 2 people only. The kitchen lack some kitchen towels & garbage bags which in all other rentals we have used these were always provided. However, I enjoyed my stay & Alex was very nice & responded quickly when we needed help. Recommend this house if you want something small & quiet. My granddaughter called this our “Tiny House” & loved visiting with us there while we were there.

Nice 2 bed in easy to access location

Enjoyed this quite home that’s located in a nice neighborhood but still close enough to major highways and an active town center with plenty of dining/ grocery options. Home is well equipped with all the necessities for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the backyard table with patio lights to relax in the evening with a glass of wine.

Perfect weekend stay

Our family enjoyed our stay in this nicely updated home! The rental had everything our family of four needed for our weekend getaway. The house was clean and inviting; the beds and pillows were comfortable; the bath and kitchen products were a welcome addition; and my husband and I both enjoyed the deluxe coffee bar. The owners were communicative, and the check-in/check out process was easy. The house is conveniently located near downtown Benicia and several great restaurants. Overall a great experience, we will book again.
