Our room was amazing, it exceeded our expectations, it was very spacious and comfortable. We were traveling with my daughter and family and the room comfortably accommodating them to come over and hanging out for awhile in the evening.

Sara was great when she checked me in. The process went quickly. I was given a beverage ticket for tonight and breakfast buffet tickets for in the morning. Our room was ready when we arrived. The bed was so comfortable. It was raised up on a plantform which provided a solid base a with no wiggly bed. The bathroom was large with a separate tub, shower and commode. Really an enjoyable experience. My only issue, and it is just my issue, I am tall, 5'11, the bedding was fresh and crisp, the bed was well made however I like sheets up to my neck rather than my waist. Also the pillows were all thick and firm. A variety of firmness would be appreciated as I don't like my neck at a 90 degree angle when I sleep. These pillows are good for men with broader shoulders and need stronger head support. Women usually need a thinner pillow as our shoulders are not as broad.

Bellingham's very nice Oxford Inn

The hotel was clean and looked well run. Everything in the decor looked modern and clean. The most impressive thing was the friendliness and kindness of the people behind the desk on both check in and checkout. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The only drawbacks I saw were the water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent, the water kind of fell out of the shower head, and the pull shade to darken the window was broken on one side making it difficult to open and close. I would gladly stay there again as it is a very nice facility overall and the people were great!!

Clean hotel with great staff

This hotel and its staff are very inviting. I was greeted immediately and checked in by a helpful and courteous young lady. Breakfast was quite good (some fresh offerings like French toast and omelets); and the dining area comfortable. My 6th floor room was quiet amd had a lovely view of trees outside. My only negative is because of a very strong cologne-type smell in my room. Upon opening the door, I immediately smelled it. Figuring it was cleaning products, i left my window open for several hours while I went to dinner etc. That helped, but during the night, it became apparent that the smell persisted. I only stayed one night, so changing rooms at that point not an option. I was assured that only unscented laundry soap is used, and no plug-ins ever used. Perhaps something in the vents? It seemed worse in the bathroom. I never did hear what was discovered. I would stay here again...but only if that smell was not present.
