Comfy king size bed, gas fireplace, large soaking tub with movable screens so you could enjoy the full bay view while soaking. Good breakfast and dinner through the on-site restaurant. Pet-friendly, though my dog stayed at home on this trip. Will definitely stay again.

I was very curious about this hotel since it's part of the Hilton Curio Collection. Unfortunately, I don't think it lives up to the brand name. Yes, the rooms have fireplaces, giant soaking tubs, and a quiet waterfront view. Other than that, the rest of the room, the check-in experience, dining/food, is all a very generic Hilton experience. Which is fine. Just not Curio standards in my opinion.

The hotel itself was nice, and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, I’m giving 3 stars because of a disruptive incident during the night. Around 1 a.m., my husband and I were woken up by a very loud noise that lasted for about 10 minutes. It sounded like a generator or machinery running somewhere below us. We even got up and checked the room to see if the noise was coming from inside. I was just about to call the front desk when it suddenly stopped. It wasn’t a great experience and definitely interrupted our sleep. I hope the hotel looks into this so future guests don’t have the same issue.

The Chrysalis was a great hotel and location as our family gathered for a wedding in July. The wedding was on the Schooner Zodiac which is docked near the Chrysalis. The hotel provided family dinner and brunch before and after the wedding. The setting for the meals was lovely - indoor as well as outdoor options for seating, with views of Bellingham Bay. The out of town guests were in awe of the beauty of the PNW.
