I have stayed at this Hay's Inn on three or four occasions. The property is getting long in the tooth. Beds are comfortable and rooms are average in space. Fridage and microwave are handy, but the only useful outlets are on the bedside lamps, a long through from the work table. There are no useful floor outlets. Parking is convenient but the card reader to enter the parking space door is antiquated and doesn't work. Breakfast is adequate with one new wrinkly. Pancake maker that is one button push and produces an edible, albeit thin, pancake.

Exactly as advertised. A basic hotel. If you need to sleep in a bed and have a shower...this place is an option .

It wasn't as clean as I would have liked but it was ok for the price

You can everything you upstairs neighbor does. I mean every single step. I found myself walking extra slow so as to not disturb anyone below me. My guess is the wood under the carpet is old and worn out. My bed was decent but i could feel a few of the individual springs on one side. Probably time for a new mattress. The room itself needs some updating, such as removal of the popcorn ceilings. Overall it does serve its purpose.

Dirty sheets stacked ontop of made bed. Room filthy dirty. After maid recleaned room, ran damp towell over surfaces turning the cloth grey instantly. Surfaces under desk, chairs, etc., not vacuumed. No offer of new room, refund, or room inspection by manager. Worst hotel experience in over 50 years.

The hotel seemed fine until the weekend. The front desk clerk on day shift is more concerned about being right than having discussion about issues. the night shift clerk wasn't much better because she was more concerned about curfew rules than with the issue of a party going on on the first floor. to our concerns about noise and pounding on the walls her answer was,"curfew is coming up" . Thanks for not understanding. We got the drift and checked out.

Overnight stay. Breakfast had good choices. Quiet. Pleasant helpful staff

Escalating motel/hotel costs makes this Day's Inn a value. The facility's age, a bit tattered at the edges account needs to be taken into account. Everything is there, including a good selection for breakfast, but not much seating. The work table in the bedroom was useful but had to be moved to be near the single visible outlet. Bed is OK but on the soft side for my taste. Lack of warm blanket means keeping heat fairly high. Smile, you're getting a bargain and don't be too demanding. Staff is cheerful and helpful, location good with walk to food choices.

I don't know much about the area and I booked this hotel on the fly. It was not in the best neighborhood. Lots of unsavory people up and down the street and lots of cars making loops in and around the hotels (not for good reasons). The hotel was ok. The A/C didn't work properly and the room was consistently uncomfortable. The bathroom amenities worked fine. The bed was comfy enough. The TV and WiFi worked fine. All in all it was just less than ok.

Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again!

Friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

This hotel needs some love and it would be great. The hotel itself was very clean, but worn. The carpet in the lobby and hallways was very old and had the faint odor of cigarette smoke. The floor baseboards and cabinets in the lobby were all badly chipped. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. But again very warn. The cigarette smoke smell stayed in the hallway and did not come into the room. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

The room was ok, nothing fancy. Only issue was it had a strong bug spray odor in the hallway, also some in the rooms...not the most pleasant smell.

I needed a place within walking distance of the University. I asked for a quiet room away from traffic noise, and got exactly that! The manager was very nice and accommodating of some extra needs I had.

Staff was very good, heater was a little hard to figure out

It was ok. Bed was hard as a rock but otherwise it was nice

Had people running around at all hours of the night called the front desk and they didn't do anything about it

We had a good time and enjoyed the excellent service from the hotel staff.

I would have rather stayed at Motel 6 for the quality and price. Not worth $136.
