Lovely property in Great location

My wife & I stayed in this property for 18 nights. It is located on the idyllic Dataw Island, just 10 minutes from beautiful Beaufort and 10 minutes from the magnificent beach at Hunting Island. Dataw Island is quiet, safe & picturesque. Wildlife is abundant (Alligators; Dolphins; Deer; Raccoon; and so many bird species) ..... whilst at the same time it has a lovely outdoor pool, wildlife area, golf courses etc. The property was well located, well maintained and quiet.

Cozy Villa with an amazing view

Heidi was very accommodating and responsive! The villa is updated and has everything you could need! The porch was one of our favorite spots watching the tides ebb and flow and the moon on the water at night! Gorgeous!

Nice Short Stay

Townhouse was exactly as described although it should be mentioned that the "third" bedroom cannot accommodate adults, and that it's cooled by a small room air conditioner rather than the central air conditioning in the rest of the house. Wish we had more time to enjoy/explore the facilities at Dataw.

Perfect Villa

This property was perfect for our family of 5. We loved being so close to the dock and pool. Everyone is so kind on the island and having the beach pass was a big bonus. We would definitely stay again. This villa was exactly as advertised, and made this one of our favorite family trips.

Low Country Gem

Great location, excellent property and manager. We had a wonderful time in Dataw and the surrounding area. The unit was spotless and comfortable. So many great options for food, entertainment or just relaxing. Highly recommended!

A quiet getaway

The setting was beautiful - with the view and the surroundings well appointed. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the beach made it a painless getaway. We loved the area and the convenience - our second time in the general vicinity.

Beautiful property

Loved the island and neighborhood. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The house was perfect for our family, roomy, and just as pictured. We enjoyed the pool, going for walks, rented golf carts. The beach is a short drive away and beautiful as well.

Incredible views and wildlife!

A beautiful place very well appointed; with everything you would need! The mornings started with the beautiful songs of the birds and often a visit to the cove by dolphins. In the evening it was a bit chilly a couple nights and we had everything we needed for a fire! It truly was a great and beautiful rental!!A++

Hoping For A Return

We truly enjoyed our stay on this property. Our family of 5 with teenagers and my senior father-in-law all found something to love about this property. This is a private island community with wonderful amenities. I highly recommend using the bicycles to explore--there is so much here to keep you busy. The location is amazing and it is great to be away from all the commotion of HHI when you want to be. The state park pass was well used and it is just an amazing state park and beach area!

Relaxing stay/Friendly Community

Our first trip to Dataw was perfect. The villa we rented was clean and well stocked. The community members we very friendly. Heidi was a pleasure to work with booking and during our stay.

Great Family Vacation

This property was exactly as pictures and described. It is beautifully appointed and well stocked. Dataw Island is an absolutely beautiful gated community. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The water view is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the wildlife while drinking morning coffee on the deck. The view pictured in this listing is exactly what you will enjoy. We don’t golf but the courses looked amazing. The outdoor pool felt like an island resort. We did a day trip over to Hilton Head Island to jet ski, fun and only a little more then 2 hours round trip. Also a day trip to Charleston, but that was almost 4 hrs round trip. Hunting beach is a short 15 minute drive and provides access to a beautiful natural beach environment. If you want to get away from the touristy coastal communities and relax, this is the place!!!!
