Great Location!

We were in town for Music on Bear Lake, couldn't have asked for a better location. The house was a perfect size for our group.

The house we had was very comfortable and well-stocked. The Freshwater Vacation team was always available and answered our questions promptly. And most importantly, they were very understanding and accommodating when we told them our car had broken down and we had to change our plans at the last minute. We are looking forward to returning to Michigan and renting with them again!

Great place to get away.

This was an excellent place to get away. There were several things to enjoy that were within an hour drive and the veiw and property was exceptional.

We had a wonderful weekend at Hemingway's hideaway! The accomodations were great, the lake was beautiful, everything was exactly as expected. It was amazing! I can't wait to go back.

Amazing Cabin

I absolutely loved this house. It had everything needed to make it feel just like home - soft towels, a soft bed (with amazing pillows), a beautiful view from every room of the lake, kitchen fully stocked with all items needed to cook. I will totally stay there again and HIGHLY recommend it.

Hemingway's Hideaway

Peaceful neighborhood. The house was as described and clean. Beautiful sunsets on the lake can be viewed from the master suite or the private boating docking the property.

Awesome!

We had a great week-long stay in the cottage. All the living spaces were updated, including the kitchen. Great views of the lack and great seating in the front-room as well as out on the deck.

Better than expected

It was the little details that caught our attention from the Hemingway coffee to the colors and art throughout the house. Sipping coffee while looking out over frozen Bear Lake with the ice fisherman huddling by their shanties. Great place for a getaway any time of the year. We are planning a summer trip to soak in the ambiance of the cabin and lake.
