Lovely stay in Avignon

Great location, needed Uber from the Train station Lots of restaurants near by. Do need to climb 2 flights, no elevator. Enjoyed our stay

Superb Location and Beautiful apartment

The property was beautiful with a gorgeous view over the square. Very close to parking at Les Halles. Nearby are restaurants and a supermarket. When the weather is fine the diners do stay up late so can be a bit noisy. There is so much to see and do in the area. We loved our time in Avignon.

Less than expected

Check in procedures are in need of total révision! Being able to get in to the property was a disaster. While repeatedly providing arrival time information to the management co., the on-site person didn’t seem to know them. She didn’t speak or read english which is OK but there needs to be a way to communicate with the client. Calls to let her know we had arrived were responded to by, “I don’t speak english”. Further texts were by “what’s app”. By chance I had installed it on my phone otherwise there would have been no communication between us. Also the client should be made aware that cabs can only access the address during certain hours because of street barriers. Because of that we had to carry our luggage a considerable distance to reach the rental. Because of the failed communications we are not sure anyone was going to meet us. After waiting about 20 minutes someone finally showed up. Some other downsides to the property were: Every early evening gangs of men would sit near the entrance sometimes blocking the entrance to the property. And I am not referring to the Uber Eats people who were picking up groceries; water to the washing machine was turned off and it was out the entrance door and up some stairs, it was another hassle to get it fixed and the TV didn’t work. On the positive side the place was clean, the furnishings good and the location excellent.

Light, bright apartment for 4 adults

The apartment is very nice - two good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and very well equipped and comfortable. It is in a excellent location for seeing the best Avignon has to offer. However, communication with the manager left a bit to be desired. We paid our deposit, then the final payment, and the app showed we had paid nothing, right up until we actually checked-in. I had to ask that they had received the payments, and was reassured, but there was nothing on the Stayz site to show it. Check-in arrangements were made, and a 'concierge' arranged to let us in and show us around. On arrival, at the mutually-agreed time, there was nobody there. I phoned her, then her backup, and neither answered their phones - each one was phoned twice. I had to phone the head office to get an answer. The 'concierge' arrived 15 minutes later, without a care in the world, as if nothing had happened! She was very half-hearted about the whole thing, as if it bored her. I would recommend this property, but only if they improve their arrival arrangements.

Great Apartment in the centre of Avignon

Superb apartment in the centre of Avignon. Local indoor market was was great with unique selection of fresh foods. We also enjoyed the Saturday street market as well. We just lived like the locals and enjoyed our 21 days here very much !! Great selection of bars in the square which we also enjoyed very much.

Wonderful stay in Avignon

The apartment was a very good set up for us as a family of adults. The kitchen was well appointed as were the other rooms. It worked well for us as we are all able to handle stairs and to walk to the many wonders of the old city. If someone wanted to be closer to the Palais de Papes or many of the restaurants they may need to consider something a bit closer in the city walls. The Halles market is very close with its incredible choice of food. We definitely benefited from being close by. We were well looked after during our stay and are greatly appreciative.

Excellent location, lots of space

My husband and I stayed in Avignon for 5 nights. Location couldn’t be better. Francois assisted when we arrived(late) to check in. Accommodations are as pictured. Well equipped.

Great stay in Avignon

Apartment was as advertised. Well appointed, clean and roomy. Great location near many restaurants, a grocery store and the Les Halls food market. The only issue I had, is that there is a bar directly opposite and there was a few nights it got pretty loud, late into the night. Other than that, it was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.
